Every home is equipped with crisp linens, high-speed Wi-Fi, and kitchen and bath essentials—everything you need for an exceptional stay. You will be able to access the entire 1 br/1ba unit, the front porch and courtyard. We are available by phone, email, or Airbnb's message app. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need anything. The Lower Garden District/ Magazine Street area is one of New Orleans' oldest and trendiest neighborhoods, with a mix of 100-year-old houses, cool shops, and restaurants. Walk to Magazine Street, the St. Charles streetcar, coffee shops, and the beautiful homes of the Garden District. Close to the French Quarter, but tucked away from the noise. City bus system close by, St Charles Streetcar within walking distance and only $7-$9 by Uber or Lyft into the center of the city. Parking outside right in front of the house. (Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). Your code for the front gate and front door will be sent via the Airbnb app three days before your stay. If you need any help just give us a call.

Includes many original historic features (hardwood floors, decorative brick fireplaces, high ceilings). This is a duplex. Other side may be available for rental for larger traveling parties. Inquire if interested. Guests will have full occupancy of the home, therefore full access to all amenities listed. This home is not owner occupied, but owner is local and will be available for any questions or concerns. This cottage is two blocks from St. Charles Avenue, a major family-friendly parade route during Mardi Gras and a main thoroughfare to get around the city. It's close to many restaurants and bars. A small grocery store is a five-minute walk away. The St. Charles Ave. streetcar will take you to the French Quarter and to the uptown area where you can visit Loyola or Tulane Universities and the can't miss Audubon Park (and zoo). Cost is $1.25 to ride. From there, jump on a bus to get to the other areas of the city. Free street parking is available. Bike Share station close by. Additional information about the home will be provided to ensure a comfortable and easy stay. Coffee and bottled water available.
