Karin’s home is really beautiful and a very special location. Lovely walks to enjoy and the views are beyond beautiful. The kids had a great time in the pool even though it was early autumn and with the pool solar heating it took the edge off. Surprisingly the kids did not complain about there being no TV. We had lots to do, games, walks, reading and exploring the area and local cafes. Worth a visit, we loved our stay!

Great place, large house with big separate rooms, beautiful views, lovely walking paths around the golf course and on the hiking trials. Dutton Cove great sea food restaurant nearby. Herold`s bay Beach is small drive away. Overall great value for money.

What a wonderful stay! From the 1st communication the checkout, everything was wonderful. We had a family of 14 from 8 years old to 83. The house swallowed us up. Pictures on here don't quite do it justice. A beautiful house that flows from the kitchen to the lounge to the deck to that amazing view right on the beach. It was perfect for our large family get together. We all had enough space to be together but crucially enough to be apart as well. It was very well equipped to cater for all of us. The setting of the house is just fantastic right on the best beach in SA but still walking distance to all that Wilderness has to offer. Finally I have to mention Elzette. My Mother of 83 had a fall just before our trip so was not very mobile. Elzette sent us all the info we needed before the trip and even helped by picking up mobility equipment from George for our arrival. Above and beyond! Any issues were immediately attended to with kindness and efficiency. Highly recommend! Thanks

Marcel's place was amazing, beautiful location and stunning views! Everything exceeded expectations with everything available to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.

Lovely property with everything that you need. I do think that there is some maintenance needed as it was not cheap to stay there.

Our principle contact was Jonathan who couldn’t have done more for us, a superb host who lives nearby. The property is well equipped throughout and located in a safe residential area just 200m from the estuary. We spent 24 wonderful days there. One point is that internal access to the upstairs is by a rather narrow spiral staircase which might not suit all ie elderly but for others ie children a point of excitement. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending both the property and hosts as a wonderful home to relax and unwind in. We’ve only found one other to match!

Amazing views. Extremely well equipped. Even better than my own home. Very modern and everything as described. Great host, Westley. The only negative is that is a quite steep road up from the center to the house so we took the car for going out to dinner although it is a close distance to some good restaurants. The beach was also beautiful and very few people when we visited in end of February. Wilderness is a charming little town.

Great place on the beach. Spacious and modern! Kitchen and living room well equipped and clean. Signal in Herold’s Bay overall isnt great, and slow Wifi and no cellular signal in main bedroom. Overall lovely stay, would return in a heartbeat!

We had a really enjoyable stay as a family. We were there for the IronMan event and it was a great location to get to everything. Would definitely recommend!

It’s a really great place to stay, with great view, too. It’s a classic and cozy house, it makes you feel comfortable and it’s like a home for you. The kitchen is amazing, and have all what you need to cook for a big group, the bathrooms are clean and works in perfect condition. Check in is so easy, also check out is easier. The neighbourhood is so quiet and nice and beautiful. What is really amazing though; is Zanelle, she is so nice and responds very quick, we face a little problem and she immediately respond and send some help, thank you Zanelle ❤️ definitely if I came back here I’ll go to the same place

We had a wonderful stay in Gouritz, surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking ocean views. From the moment we entered the home, we were welcomed by a spectacular view of the sea that set the tone for a peaceful stay. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our time there comfortable and convenient. One of our favorite parts of the trip was spending lazy afternoons playing boardgames together. It was the perfect getaway for rest and quality time with our family. Thank you Rita.

We had a lovely stay. The proximity to George cbd is great yet you stay in a peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend to others.

A great home away from home. Easy to find, big house with plenty of space, beautiful surrounds. Only stayed for two nights but would easily have stayed longer if we had the time. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Not many places so petfriendly. All 5 our Frenchies (and a last minute cousin) was welcome. House is literally on the ocean, awsome walks with dogs on the beach. The best for me was the inside braai with big open sliding door and deck. Just perfect. O ja, and a very big plus also was the awsome bed linen, slept like a king with ocean right outside. what an incredible stay, now my favorite home away from home. thoughtful touches throughout the home almost tops the incredible view and perfect location. great for family, great for all weather with the indoor braai, fireplace and stacking doors. we will definitely be back. thank you Kady and team for a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at The Beach House in Groot Brakrivier! The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Marya was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the beach, and we were spoiled with stunning views from every room. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the sea in a beautiful setting.

Amazing ocean views from several points in the house and on the balconies. Gas heated geysers, therefore, there's always warm water. Braai area in living room heats up the place well. Cell reception is spotty, no wifi which was a pro for us, a time to connect and converse.

Thank you Gert and Ursula We had a lovely time in George . We felt right at home at the ‘Half way House’ Gert and Ursula met us at check in and showed us around very friendly indeed. The place was very neat and tidy and had all the essentials we needed .. tea ,coffee sugar and milk even a lovely packet of rusk . The kitchen is well equipment, had a coffee plunger which was a bliss. The Golf estate is beautiful and perfectly located to all the shops . We walked and even ran the whole place it’s completely safe for children to walk around alone . We will be sure to visit again. Will definitely recommend. Thank you once again. 🙂 Gert and Ursula .

Great value for money in an amazing location!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the atmosphere was so peaceful , it was the perfect getaway for our family. We visited in winter and, although we were initially concerned about the cold, we were pleasantly surprised to find heated blankets on the beds, a gas heater, and a cozy indoor fireplace that made our stay extra comfortable. The host was lovely, welcoming us warmly and always available when we needed assistance. The location was central, easy to find, and close to everything we needed. We were genuinely sad to leave and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 3 nights, family of 6. Place was neat and clean, everything we required was available for our stay, Wesley was available at all times or communication and to advise if anything needed. Spacious house, bottom and top lounge areas and belcony was great for views of the ocean. Would highly recommend and be back when we in Mosselbay again. Thanks Wesley!
