We had a fantastic time staying at the Ole Dome! We really enjoyed being able to see the northern lights while enjoying a fire. It’s the perfect place to be both secluded, yet close enough to Grand Marais to enjoy all it has to offer. Very comfortable space with a relaxing sound of the river and bird calls.

Jenny's home was just lovely and my only regret was that we'd only booked for two nights. There are a lot of nice touches to make guests feel at home. The house feels fairly secluded since it's set back from the road and is a less than 10 minute drive from downtown Grand Marais. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Absolutely the most amazing home I’ve stayed in! Set back in the woods so that you feel like you’re on a private island. I loved walking to the lake daily with my dogs and even stopped by a cute fishing museum. The town is adorable. I stayed here twice and hope to return in the future!

Not only is she an amazing host - we basically planned our itinerary around all her wonderful recommendations - but this house is just a gem on the north shore. Well stocked, better than photos, and pristine views of the lake each day. We’ll be back again and again 😊

Serenity Lodge: Your Northwoods Lakefront Retreat

We stayed for 5 nights with two children. The loft was perfect for them to stretch out and offered a bit of independence and area to play. The house is stocked and well thought out and offers anything you might need or forgot to bring along. Make sure to gas up and grab your groceries before you arrive due to the remote location. We mainly stayed nearby enjoying the lake access, use of kayaks, and state park down the road. It was also a convenient spot to explore a little farther out - spent the day in Ely away from the cooler shore. If you're on the fence, go for it! Serenity Lodge offers all the creature comforts of home and more to make a memorable North Shore adventure.
