Nice first stay at airbnb. The description matched well and it was a peaceful place to stay.

We all feel incredibly lucky to have found such a beautiful place to stay, with such a wonderful person to host us! Elina welcomed us with warmth and provided us with all the information we needed to facilitate our trip. The log cabin was perfect... Authentically built, warm, clean, cosy and decorated with love, double glazed windows with stunning views of the surrounding forest (and it's wildlife), a kitchen with all the amenities you could ask for, a gorgeous well-functioning fireplace and a beautiful woodfired sauna, alongside all the little extras that make a place a home! Despite being the dead of winter, the five of us (including our 1 year old child) remained warm and comfortable for the entire stay. Our hosts cut a hole in the lake to allow us to plunge between sauna sessions, and made sure the driveway was cleared of snow. Overall the stay was a magical and unforgettable experience, we sincerely hope to be back again and until then have left a piece of our hearts.

The stay was as described and served our purpose. We'll be back if we move in the same direction.

Liisa's cottage is small but beautiful. There is a fantastic view and a lovely sauna. In the garden, we saw a tie at dusk. We enjoyed it superbly. Liisa is a great host. If we are in Finland again we would love to come back
