Although the weather was a heavy downpour most of our long weekend stay we still had an great time, we didn’t get to walk the gardens but could see how amazing they looked. The facilities were quality, very clean and the spa / sauna was a perfect way to relax, especially during the rainy periods where we could hear the rain pelting down on the roof above while soaking in the tub and being surrounded by ferns. Tracey was an amazing host, with great communication throughout, clear instructions and with easy access to the property. The complimentary bubbles was also a nice touch! Highly recommend!

We had the most beautifully amazing stay at The Dome! Even though the weather didn’t allow us to take full advantage of all the incredible amenities—from the cozy sauna and fire pit to the stunning outdoor couch and tub—just being surrounded by it all made the experience feel so special. Inside, the dome was absolutely perfect: thoughtfully designed, warm, and magical. What made the stay even more memorable was the hospitality. The host came out in the pouring rain to help us get settled in and make sure we were fully comfortable, which we truly appreciated. They were also super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It was such a lovely, peaceful getaway, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We were there to support friends doing the Ironman. The place was perfect!! Walking distance to the swim and transition area, and the marathon course came past us on both sides, so very handy for popping out to cheer our friends on, but then returning to relax in cool comfort in between. A very large clean and comfortable apartment, that we loved. Great water pressure in the shower; comfortable beds. Easy parking and access, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, or to stay again.

For the larger family group of 8 this property was perfect. Easy to access Taupo as needed and a lovely peaceful property. Great furnishings and comfy sleep! The kitchen was full of everything and it felt like home from home. Host totally quick and responsive to a message I needed to send. Recommend highly, and will stay again as a large group.

Wonderful stay in a fantastic location! The house was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and a great design the caters for both family time and quiet moments alone. It would be just as ideal in bad weather, with plenty of room to relax indoors. Everything was easy to use, and the attention to detail was spot on—even down to the quality dinnerware. A really well-done setup that made our stay seamless and enjoyable!
