The Wheelhouse - Panoramic Ocean Views

Welcome to The Wheelhouse! My name is Natalie and I am 12 years old. Me and my brothers and sister saved up our PFD money and bought a rental house. When we bought the house it was in pretty bad shape. So we ripped everything out and remodeled it as a family. The money we make will go into our bank accounts for college savings. We kids will be your hosts and if you have any needs or concerns, or if you are not satisfied call us! We will of course have parents to back us up, if needed.

Located between Valdez and Thompson pass, this little "mini" offers everything you need to be comfortable on your stay. A short 13 mile drive from Valdez will have you nestled in the woods where you will enjoy peace and serenity. Newly renovated Studio-Style BnB offers a private bathroom, and a "mostly" full kitchen. (There is no range/oven, but there is a toaster, Air-Fryer, microwave, and hot-plate for all your cooking needs!) This unit is upstairs with about 12 steps to the top.

You've reached the end of the road! This is where the excitement starts. Whether fishing, or hiking the abundant trails. Foraker Place will make you feel right at home. A fully furnished living room warm and cozy. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen complete with service for four. Foraker Place is within walking distance to shopping, parks, and all the down town places of interest. Whether for business or pleasure your sure to enjoy the location and comfort of Foraker Place.

The Gingerbread House

Experience a piece of Valdez history when you stay at the Gingerbread House! This house was originally built on the old Valdez townsite, then moved and renovated after the 1964 tsunami. This home is located in town and is within walking distance of Valdez's restaurants, shops and attractions. Inside are two bedrooms with queen and full size beds. The couch can turn into a third bed to accommodate another two guests. In addition, there is a back deck and private back yard.

Historic Thompson House

Thompson House is historic, quirky, unique and comfortable. It survived the 1964 9.2 earthquake and tsunami that caused Old Valdez to relocate to the new and present town site. An addition more than doubled the size of the original one room cabin which included an extensive remodel.
