Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Taringa

Central Cottage was just perfect for our stay. Beautifully presented home with a lovely peaceful vibe. Walking distance to shops was great. Very central to Brisbane and surrounds. A great stay!!!

This house was a hone away from home beautifully situated in a very quiet neighbourhood with a view of the city. The garage fit our large 4wd easily and navigating out of it was very easy. The amount of toilets in this home blew us away making it very easy to share with a family of 5, three bedrooms had thier own ensuites as well. The verandah was a great spot to chill in the afternoons and the cool weather meant we hardly used the air cons. Downstairs was used primarily by the 17 year old who had his own area to enjoy with a another beautiful outdoor area. Even with our own vehicle we made use of the train station which is literally 5 minutes walk down the road, and we're regular customers at the cafe a few steps from our front gate. I would recommend this home to anyone and everyone and will definitely be staying again on our next Brisbane visit.

Great 3 bedroom place, with plenty of room for our family. It was a perfect location for us as it was a short walk to the train station which made getting into the city or to my brother's house really easy with 2 young kids. Host communication was great and very responsive .... thanks for allowing a slightly later check out which made timing of getting to the airport a lot easier.

Jayne’s place was amazing. My parents and I had a wonderful time in Brisbane and this house had everything we need, even laundry with a dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge room with TV. The bedrooms were very spacious and the beds super comfortable. Thank you!

Loved our stay in Milton! House was so beautiful and homely. Conveniently located, we were easily able to come back and forth during the day. Plenty of space for 2 people looking for a short getaway.

Very nice place to stay. We arrived a bit late that night and it was raining by the time we got off the taxi , but the host leave the light on for us so the entering process was very easy. The place is within walking distance to supermarket /restaurants /cafe , bus stop, we loved the location. Inside the house we got everything we needed. And it’s spacious, very comfortable. We would highly recommend Annie‘s place in South Brisbane and hope to stay again. The location is perfect. It is walking distance to supermarkets and cafes, 10 minutes to the Southbank Beach and the start of the Arts precinct, 10 minutes in the other direction to the fabulous cafes and shops of Boundary Street in West End. You can comfortably walk into the city in 20 minutes. It is also very well supported by public transport. We stayed for nine nights and did not need a car at all. The house is beautifully decorated, with interesting art and books. And as people who really enjoy cooking we found the house very well set up, with all necessary equipment and generous supplies. Beds were comfortable. Getting in and out of the property was a breeze with coded access and no need for keys. Our hosts were very responsive. All in all a most enjoyable stay.

We loved staying at Rachel's place in Milton. It was perfect for us, and being pet-friendly was a big plus. The apartment is conveniently located near several cafes and restaurants. Check-in was a breeze, and we found the apartment's location within the building to be very convenient to amenities.

The studio is located in a really peaceful neighbourhood and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Only downside was that we didn’t have a car for the duration of our stay and the hike to one of the bus stops that took us into the city was a steep one. Buses to and from the city also didn’t come at particularly frequent intervals (30 mins to an hour) so be prepared to accommodate more time for commute by public transport! Wifi login details were also reset but haven’t been updated on the airbnb listing yet, but that’s a minor fix. Apart from that, the place is perfect for quiet nights away from the noise and crowds. Jennifer was really responsive and helpful 😊 Thank you again for the stay!

A beautiful apartment to stay in. Very clean, everything you needed and more. Perfect location and close to everything. You could walk everywhere. Great communication from Sandra as well. Very accomodating and lovely. Finding the key was easy with the instructions provided. Parking was a bit tricky but I paid to park at Opera Apartments for convenience at $30 per night - I had to get there early to purchase parking from the front desk as they closed at 12 on the weekend. They had to let me in as I didn’t have the apartment key yet but I could get to ground floor and explore the city, without a key, until check in. Highly recommend. I will stay there again when I return to the city.

We had a wonderful three night stay at Nikita’s apartment! It was a really great location, we were able to walk, bus, train and ferry all around the city. The apartment itself was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed! Nikita was wonderful to communicate with and was so helpful and accomodating. Thank you for hosting us!

Scarletts place is a little gem. Perfectly placed to explore Brisbane. Clean and tidy with plenty of space for a couple.

Selina’s place is a great central location! Walking distance to Albert Street shops and Queen Street mall, great restaurants, and a park across the road. Easy walk to the central bus station, easy to catch a bus to Suncorp Stadium etc. Selina’s place was well equipped with everything you could need for a stay! She greeted us on check in and showed us around which we really appreciated! The pool is a bonus, with great views to the Brisbane river! Would highly recommend :)

Very clean and presentable apartment. Great location and easy walk to restaurants, Brisbane Exhibition & Convention Centre, rail station (South Brisbane). Yet still quiet Benny is a responsive communicator and provided very clear instruction on how to access the apartment.

The apartment is so close to the train station and walkable to indro shopping centre, we enjoyed shopping and bought groceries nearby. The amenities were suitable for what we needed, especially the warm preparation and compliment from the host! Besides, Lucia and Trong are friendly, helpful and very responsive, all of us had a great time during the stay. Highly recommended to family and friends!
