Ngā mihi nui!! Such a beautiful, clean, tidy, gorgeous space with a cosy fireplace that is simple to light, warm beds and perfect water pressure in the shower - exactly what the dr ordered for all 3 of us, and the four legged one with a well fenced-in section... Super close to the beach and a back gate that leads down to the awa with a short walk to the glorious Butter cave and 'flowerpots'.. Easy communication with hosts, and we truly appreciated the early/late check-in/check-out negotiations.. Friendly locals, who meet in the carpark at the top of the driveway on the daily, are keen to share fishing tips etc, and this homely little bach is very close to the best butchery and to the Awakino pub which served us up some deliciously fresh seafood - it was seriously hard to leave Mokau!!

Great spot to get all the family together. Good sleepout. Lovely big lounge, kitchen, dining area. Good size bedrooms. Nice decks to spread out. Didn’t have time to use the sauna but that would have been a bonus. Everything there we needed.

The place is really nice, quiet and we loved the little fireplace - we wanted a place where we can relax and disconnect and that was perfect. It is quite hard in NZ to get a place where dogs are allowed and being able to go on holidays with them was a ++++.

Tyler and Zoe really went above and beyond an air bnb hosts duties when it came to our stay. My 80yr old elderly mum checked in initially and was at the airbnb for a couple nights before other guests arrived. My mum had issues using her mobile and was unable to contact family in Australia or in NZ for help. But she was able to get a hold of Tyler who without hesitation went to the house to assist a very distressed elderly women. He offered to help organise food or anything that my mum needed and was very generous with his time and help. Shout out to the person boarding in the studio downstairs of the house who was so helpful in helping mum when she needed to go to hospital. The hospitality received from these hosts is truly remarkable and our family will be forever grateful for all the support for my mum. Thank you again x We will definitely rebook next time we are in the area, would highly recommend this stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheree’s place! The house was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Everything was well prepared, and we especially appreciated the board games. We had fun playing Monopoly! Sheree was a kind and responsive host, and communication was always smooth. The location was great and made it easy for us to explore the area and relax. We would absolutely love to come back again!

Great location, handy to the local cafe's, pub and 4 Square for food shopping, only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Oakura beach, we particularly like the secure backyard since we had our 2 dogs, we were able to relax knowing they couldn't get out. Thank you Kate, Paul and Sally (their dog🐶😊) for a relaxing stay.

Great place to stay. Each bedroom has an ensuite. Lounge and kitchen very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay with family. Lots of space for everyone. Very large deck that felt very safe for the children. Food at the restaurant was lovely. They also did room service which was wonderful. The ‘second living area’ in the photos was no where to be seen. Not sure if that photo has been posted by mistake 🤷🏼‍♀️ We also weren’t aware this property is actually part of a motel/lodge so when we arrived we weren’t sure where we were. It worked out really well though and everyone was great. The pool in the photos is part of the complex so it was quite busy at some points. The only thing that would have made it better was if there was a vacuum cleaner in the room as this is not a serviced apartment and we had booked for 5 nights with children so we really could have used a vacuum 😅 Would definitely recommend this place to others. Really private with amazing views.

Great place to stay, with large, comfortable beds. Pet-friendly, with fully fenced section. Garden is beautiful and house is situated right next to Te Henui walkway to the sea. Local Orangery restaurant at the nearby Plymouth has delicious food. Kitchen, bathrooms, and linen are very clean - but the house is tired. We still loved it :)

The apartment was excellent for our family of 3 generation's, great beds, good sized bedrooms and lots of bathrooms to accommodate 8 people easily. The apartment was bigger than I was expecting and the location was excellent with easy access to the waterfront with a skate park, basketball court, and bar area by the walking path and beach, all within mins of walking from the apartment. Having the apartment part of the lodge accommodation meant the guests who wanted restaurant breakfast or dinner could while others used the bbq and kitchen at the apartment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend this as a holiday option and will stay here again.

David’s place in New Plymouth was homely and perfect for our family and friends. Very cosy and well-appointed.

Melissa honestly is the best host I’ve come across on Airbnb (and I’ve stayed at a few places). She was responsive, helpful and even left us goodies in the fridge :) The house was perfect for our needs as we worked at an event in the Bowl of Brooklands. Beds are firm, bathroom was clean and tidy and kitchen had most of the things we needed. Thank you for having us Melissa x

Great cozy house by Egmont National Park. Molly's place is great, spacious rooms, fully equipped, fast wi fi, everything was clean and tidy. She was friendly and always responsive. I stayed here with friends as a base for hikes at Mount Taranaki and it was a lovely experience.

We had a fantastic time at Maria's house! Quiet, beautiful and clean inside and out, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. Very suitable for a young family, the trampoline and swing were a hit with lots of outdoor space to run around and plenty of indoor space including a separate living room area with a TV. Kitchen was the best we've had, with lots of good quality kitchenware making food prep easy. Comfy beds, and the excellent insulation meant it didn't get cold inside even when the temperature dropped outside. Strong shower pressure, if that's your thing. Good facilities for washing and drying clothes. Easy to get to location, a quick car trip down to the waterfront and not too far away to walk to shops. Great, quick communication from Maria. Not a single negative word to say about it, our favourite airbnb so far!

Just a fantastic place. We’ve had issues with other rentals being filled with cheap stuff that looks better in photos than it is, but the quality of everything in this house from the house itself to the furniture to the cookware, everything was premium and gorgeous. The house was very homey and comfortable and the setting was amazing. Such a good spot to stay. Will absolutely be back.

Brooke your house was an amazing find for us. We love the location, how quiet it is & an easy walk into New Plymouth. Most of all a 5 minute walk to Pukekura Park. The whole weekend for us worked better than we ever hoped. Your house is comfortable, your beds are comfortable, 2 bathrooms are a plus, & your kitchen space was a bonus for us to prepare food.
