Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tamarin

An ideal place to explore Mauritius, its beaches and inland and find calm, comfort and idleness in the late afternoon! Super equipped accommodation where you can feel at home right away. Ambroise and Ganesh's hospitality is remarkable. Attentive, available and concerned with our installation. a superb holiday in a faithful and comfortable rental. adapted and dunctional pool. Good hygiene and a verandah with ocean views. the furniture is in the theme of the island and gives a lot of charm to the stay. the only downside is the weak wifi in some rooms of the house, otherwise there is nothing to say. very good stay and the pool was a plus for all the family. The concierge is really great and responsive.

My wife and I stayed in Nicolas' home on our honeymoon, and we could not have been happier. Nicolas' brother, Armand, was generous enough not only to pick us up at the airport (about 45 minutes away from the home), but also to show us a good breakfast spot and eat with us on the beach, find us a car to rent and then drive us to the car rental place and help us coordinate, jump our car later in the week when it wouldn't start, and stock the fridge with a few essentials. Aside from his incredible hospitality, the house is a dream: four gorgeous bedrooms (the one we stayed in even had air conditioning!), and an unbeatable view from two patios that we ate breakfast on every morning. The house is conveniently located to great beaches and Mauritius tourist attractions (Casela Nature Park, Black River Gorges, Tamarin Falls, just to name a few, and not too far of a drive from the south's main attractions either). If we ever return to Mauritius, it will definitely be to this home!

We stayed for a week at Harry and Malini's. The accommodation is very well located, close to the sea and shops. I have nothing else to say, our week was excellent! Thanks to them for hosting us and for their kindness.

great stay! the villa is very large with 4 suites...with bathroom and outdoor shower. and large space. the beautiful and amazing pool! we also took the services of Poorinha who is very helpful and cooks wonderfully! in summary: excellent stay in the villa just a note about the condition of the house which is fine but is starting to age a little.

Lovely flat. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach one way and 10 minutes the other way Parking is easy, good internet. And excellent value and communications. The big tv was great during the cyclone. We just used our Netflix account. A few small downsides The Hottub is run down and cloudy The terrace furniture is old and worn. If it rains you won’t be able to use the cushions for days. The kitchen could be better equipped. Wouldn’t have been an issue save for the cyclone None of those things were big issues for us We would definitely return. 6 days there cost the same as 2 days in our hotel in Belle Mare.

The location in the middle of the national park is fantastic. Quiet and safe without a rental car, however, you can't get very far here. The house was much nicer than you could guess before and the perfectly furnished kitchen surprised us very much. We have never had such good amenities in an Airbnb Everything was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the time. The pool was pleasant and the air conditioners in the rooms worked very well. Only in the living area it was very warm, unfortunately you could not spend a longer time. Mosquito spray is highly recommended, but that applies to the whole island. Thank you for the great time.

Florian's house perfect to me and my friend! We had a absolutely pleasant 2 weeks here. The house is in a quiet street, like a villa place, pure living area. Means not many restaurants nearby, but there is a perfect kitchen with all necessary equipments, we can cook whatever we want. The house not far from the center of Port Louis as well as big malls. It’s convenient for stay. I highly recommend this place and definitely will book again if I come to Mauritius in the future.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The property and the entire estate complex, in which the property is situated, is a delight. Mr. Roelf provided with very specific instructions for checking in and provided with necessary information. The amenities provided by him were amazing, including board games and tennis rackets and scooters to commute within the estate complex. It has a great tennis court. Now, specifically the situation of the property is such that it's overlooking the mountains and estate itself serves as a private yacht parking for individual houses. The view is beautiful even when you're simply relaxing at the private deck. The location point could serve as a central point for going either way to Tamarin,Le Morne,Casela Park,Seven Colored earth and Grand Bassin. There are a couple of supermarkets within 3 kms range. The only missing thing was a water purifier for drinking water at the property. Rest all was great. Overall, a wonderful experience

The villa was great value for money. There were 9 of us (5 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of space. The location was great as we walked onto the main road to get food or shopping each night. The walk to the beach was very short too and was nice to be able to watch the sunset there. The host was very responsive to questions and requests we had. Would like to come and stay again.

2 families stayed at Sergeys house in July 2 2019. We had a great time and recommend the house/host based on; - Great layout - different places to sit/relax/eat depending on weather/time of day. - Great pool area! - Great seaview! (Sitting on the terrasse with a beer watching the sunset was just great!) - Roof- covered sitting group outside. - Proximity to beaches/kite/surfspots - Great cleaning services. In addition we were very happy with Sergeys responsiveness to messages and questions, things that were unclear got sorted out immedately! We were also very happy with the additional services he coordinated, such as pickup/delivery at airport, the cook that came to us and made local food when we wanted (very affordable and great food!!). Highly recommended.

It was such a warm couple by these lovely couple who kept in constant touch with us from the time I booked their property. The location is extremely convenient. The stay was very comfortable. Highly recommend it!!! Thank you both 🙏

We had a great stay at a very nice place. The rooms are very spacious, nicely equipped and the roof terrace is a real highlight! We used both the jacuzzi and pool and can recommend both. Flic en Flac is a lively place with restaurants and bars and good shopping. The supermarket jumbo in the village has good opening hours and a large offer. The location of the accommodation is great for the beach and many other activities also in other parts of the island. The bus station is right on the street next to the house, which is great for excursions. The landlords and also the security staff are very very nice, helpful and always available. We had a great time and would love to come back.

The house made our stay. It’s quite private and has lovely outside seating. A little paradise. Le Morne beach is a five minute walk, great for snorkling and swimming . You are facing due west so wonderful sunsets. The house was regularly cleaned by lovely Christine and Elizabeth the owner always responded to our requests. I can’t recommend it enough and we would definitely go back .

Set in a very quiet street and a very easy walk to the beach and shops. The main supermarket as Cascavelle is a 10 minute drive. The apartment is just as described and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a short or long term stay. There's plenty of space with a large dining area, well equiped kitchen with an added extra of a water filter jug. Beautifully decorated bedrooms, one with an en suite and also a large seperate shower and toilet for the other bedroom. The open plan lounge area has comfotable seating and a tv. There is a seperate breakfast bar by the kitchen hatch area. AC is available in the bedrooms and lounge. There is a small covered seating area outside. I was able to put my car inside the property. Wifi reception is very good. The property was spotlessly clean and I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want easy access to many of the beautiful sights in the south of Mauritius. Great stay at Isabelle's who is a simply amazing host. In addition to the many tips about the surrounding area, we offered a guided tour of the south of the island and put us in touch for a dolphin and sperm whale boat tour. Top floor apartment with superb sea view terrace to see the most beautiful sunset. No complaints, go ahead! Thank you Isabelle

Before arrival Archad was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we were met and shown around the house and shown how everything worked etc. The house was very clean with large rooms. The location is good - easy to get to Port Louis outside of rush hour and the motorways around the rest of the island. The (basically) private beach added a touch of luxury. House manager Natasha is very responsive and always on hand. We had an issue (nothing to do with the house) and Natacha was over later the same day and all sorted on a Sunday. Would recommend highly.

Karine was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is quite nice. Unfortunately, we overlooked that there was no dishwasher and therefore had to wash up the entire holiday. The listing also did not mention it, but we assumed that a dishwasher would be available at such a property. Well, a small downside to an otherwise very nice stay.

Jean Christophe, his family and Agnes were all warm, helpful and generous hosts. The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

I’ve been staying at this property on and off for the past four years whenever I visit Mauritius, and I can confidently say — this is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had on Airbnb. The house is always in perfect condition: spotless clean, well-organized, and fully equipped for a long-term stay. The garden is beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere feels calm and cared for. The host is consistently responsive, thoughtful, and reliable. Everything you might need is already there — just unpack and live. If you’re looking not just for a place to stay, but for a place to be, this is it.

We had a fantastic stay at Ornella and Eric’s place! From the moment we arrived, Ornella was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. But the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view—waking up to it every morning was a dream! During our stay there was a cyclone warning , Ornella kept us updated with latest information, offering guidance and reassurance . Ornella was very sweet and kind, we truly appreciate her hospitality. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a wonderful host, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Great host who can be counted on. impeccable bungalow and with all the comforts. Wifi, gated parking, close to the beach, clean pool. Possibility to have small Mauritian dishes cooked by a stove for a good price and hearty ready for the evening when you return, a luxury! we'll be back, that's for sure.

Accommodation that is larger in reality than in the photos, beautiful terrace with barbecue that we used a lot. Very quiet building with private parking space. Beautiful communal pool. Very clean accommodation.
