If you are looking for peace, a beautiful green area and a good host who will show you the way (if you need it), this is definitely recommended. Commewijne is by far from my favorite place in Suriname to stay, and especially Jagtlust. It's really nice green. If you want to go to the center...you will be there in no time (20/30 min drive). What also makes the stay (and the location) so special is that there are monkeys (and many more exotic animals). Very impressive. In short, really recommended!!

Stayed at this villa for the last few days and all in all I give it a 10. The location Commewijne, and especially Palm Village, is amazing. Palm Village is very beautiful green and you will completely relax there. This villa is located on the water lake and that completes it. It's really beautiful. Furthermore, I noticed when entering the villa that everything is super clean and tidy. In terms of location: it is a 20 to 30 min drive to the city center and this is very easy to do. This is definitely a place I come back to!

Regilio does an extra job of giving you a warm welcome. It immediately felt like a home away from home.

Anna made check in very pain and was very welcoming. Everything was as described. The property was very clean and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Surinam. The AC ‘s were very very welcomed after a hot day. The entire property was well planned out and inviting.
