Holiday rentals with lake access in Takashima

Definitely one of the best airbnb I stayed in ! Traditional, clean, roomy, well located. I would definitely come back as soon as I will be around. Nagahama is a great city and deserves a few days on site. I cannot think of a better place than Masahiro’s to stay and enjoy a slower pace.

I stayed with 13 of my high school friends! The sauna was authentic, the barbecue stove was easy to use, and the garden wires were perfect! It was a well cleaned and clean facility! It was also very pleasant to have coffee and breakfast, bring a hot sand maker, and eat hot sandwiches and coffee on the terrace. Regarding the sauna, it goes up to 110 degrees Celsius, so it is difficult to lower the temperature even if it is rolled, and it is well arranged with a water bath and infinity chair. It was also great to get hot water in the large jacuzzi when it got cold! Lipi, Lipi, Repeat Confirm ~♪

As I saw in the photos in advance, the exterior, and interior were beautiful, and I was surprised by the cleanliness that exceeded my expectations.The entire room was carefully cleaned and well organized, and we had a very pleasant stay.The water around the toilet and bathroom was also perfectly cleaned. There were plenty of toys for toddlers in the room, and the children had a pleasant time without getting bored.It was also very helpful that we were able to park two cars on the premises. Regarding the surrounding environment, it is every quiet during the day and at night because of the residential area.There is a supermarket (Heiwado) less than 10 minutes on foot, so I don't think you will have any trouble shopping for ingredients. Overall, there was nothing frustrating about it.To put it bluntly, there was only one large size frying pan for the number of stoves in the kitchen, so it was a bit of a hassle to navigate multiple dishes at the same time.But this is a minor point. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and we had a wonderful time thanks to the host.This is a great facility that you can confidently recommend to others for cleanliness, amenities, and convenience.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is super clean, huge & peaceful with beautiful surroundings. We love the traditional feeling of the house. The kitchen is complete with all the cutleries & utensils. Highly recommended. We don’t even stay upstairs as downstair place already enough.

Easy to find, accurate description, nice little house near the lake. Can be a little bit noisy with the highway close by, but in general super quiet! Flexible with check in, as we arrived a little bit earlier than expected. Super recommend, thank you!

Our stay at Yamashita’s beautiful 100-year-old Japanese villa in Kyoto was the perfect way to end our 2 week vacation in Japan. The house is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped, perfect for our group of 12. It has everything you need and more. It has a serene garden, jacuzzi, and sauna—the kids especially loved the jacuzzi! Yamashita is an EXCEPTIONAL host—very warm, helpful, and accommodating. She drove us to supermarkets and places we wanted to go and even picked us up for a small fee. She prepared simple yet delicious breakfasts. She was quick to respond to messages and even guided us on using local buses. Though the house is a bit far from the touristy areas, the peace and quiet of Yamashita’s home made it the perfect retreat. It offered a more authentic and relaxing experience of Japan. I highly recommend Yamashita’s villa to anyone looking for comfort, culture, and outstanding hospitality. And to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in a traditional Japanese home.

This BnB was brilliant, placed in a great area where we could easily go out and explore! The host was very friendly and helpful, messaging us each day and even bringing us a gift! I would love to stay here again

A very warm and comforting stay.The area is beautiful and so is the cozy air bnb room right under a cute cafe. I would however recommend you rent a car if you’re unable to walk 17min to bus stop.

Our host was excellent. Proactive communication, friendly and helpful. I failed my responsibility of checking out to standard, but the host was still very gracious. This was a great place to stay.

This is a private rental house along Lake Biwa. You can also descend directly to the sand from the terrace. There was a BBQ on the terrace, the view was very beautiful, and the surroundings were quiet. The kitchen area is also fully equipped with basic cooking utensils and tableware. There was also a large sofa in the living room, so we had a very comfortable stay.

Accommodation with children.I was able to stay clean and comfortable.Thank you for providing plenty of bath towels and towels.
