Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Takamatsu

It was a very great place to stay.The Japanese atmosphere was luxurious, and the cooking experience in the hearth and oven was a really special time. It was a rainy day, but I enjoyed it relaxing regardless of the weather. The host was also very kind, and I had many polite messages before my stay, which made me feel at ease. The whole family was very satisfied.We would like to stay there again.

I was able to convey my old life to my elementary school children.The children seemed to have a very pleasant meal in the fireplace, and I was very impressed by the rice I cooked myself.We had a great time with our family. If you're looking for a great old-school, homestyle Japanese accommodation, this is your place. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it's a bit like staying at your grandparents' place in the country: It won't have the sleekest and most modern new features, but it's a legit piece of a bygone era. We stayed as a family of five, had a great time. The place was super spacious and comfortable, and pretty well located for what we wanted to do in Shikoku. We rented a car, and I was initially worried about finding restaurants within walking distance of the AirBNB, but the neighborhood was surprisingly good for restaurants! The fish place next door is definitely worth trying, as is the nearby yakiniku place (about 10 min walk). The only downside I could note is that we had Internet issues while we were there. Not a huge deal for us, but it could be for some. I'm sure the host will take care of that for future visitors.

They were very kind and the whole family enjoyed it. There are many accommodations, but if you go around Kurashiki, I would like to stay here again.

The exterior and interior were very stylish and everyone had a tension!There was also a sauna and fireplace, and I enjoyed it like I was at the villa.If I ever come back to Shodoshima, I'd love to stay here again.

This place was a great stay in Takamatsu. It’s about a 20min walk from the station and ferry port. We were easily able to take day trips to the nearby islands and walk in central Takamatsu from the location. The house is clean and spacious. There are steps when you enter the home so be weary of that if you need step free access! There are a couple restaurants right next to the house. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Takamatsu.

There were 5 children and it was noisy, but there was a distance from the surrounding house, so I had a relaxing stay. There were two bedrooms, and I stayed with three relatives. Some of them didn't like insects, but the interior was very clean and I had a pleasant time. Amenities such as water, coffee, and towels were also provided for a few days, which was helpful. The view was also stunning and I had a relaxing time. It was a few minutes drive to my parents' beach. There were many inconveniences such as changing the number of people, but they handled it well.

It was a very wonderful 3 night and 4 day trip. It was my first time in a remote island location, but the climate was very accessible, quiet, peaceful, and I loved it. The family of three visited us, but we used the space too large for the three of us luxuriously, heard the sound of the sea, and relaxed while being healed. Basically, we had a BBQ or made a simple lunch in the kitchen. I was also planning to eat out, but it is temporarily closed or booked and inquiries are required in advance. There are days when I bought cup noodles and haggendats at the only JA store on the island, and enjoyed it. The people on the island were also very kind and at home! Thank you very much, Rika. I'm going to Megijima again!

We stayed with 6 friends. It was a quiet place, surrounded by nature, and it was a secluded accommodation. The interior was also beautiful, and it was a spacious and fun place for a large group. The check-in time was also free after 3 pm, and the check-out time was 12 o'clock, so I had a relaxing time in the morning. It was a place I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.
