Holiday houses in Takahama, Oi District

Loved our stay in Kyoto. Apartment was in a good, quiet location, very clean and tidy and walking distance to conveniences.

This is a lovely traditional home in a small, quiet town, attractive to stroll around and admire. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked for a night or two with friends and/or family. It suited our group of five adults and two 12-year-olds extremely well. The fact that it has so many bedrooms is a significant advantage for groups that don't all want to share the same sleeping space, as is often the case at Japanese Airbnbs. The friendly hosts were waiting for us at check-in and gave us an extremely detailed tour and explanation of the property. There are not many services within walking distance, so we were glad we rented a car. We cooked dinner and breakfast, and found many useful condiments and spices in the kitchen. Really, the only disadvantage of this home is that it is rather expensive, but the experience of staying there is unique, making it worth the cost. Airbnb prices in general seem to be rising, so it is not dissimilar to others like it.

The location is great (literally a 2 minutes walk from Fushimi Inari Shrine), the host is very helpful with both accomodation's questions and other informations and always replied very quickly. The place itself is really nice, clean and had all the necessities one might need. Really recommend it!

A great four night stay in this beautiful house in Kyoto. It's nicely updated, yet still traditional. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and very quiet at night. We loved it!

Great home in great location. Very clean with lots of room. Close to the JR station and two local bus stops.

For the first time, I used Airbnb to book a room for the first time, I chose this bridal cage in the mood of concern, and I was really surprised when I checked in to open the door on the day, the setting in the room, the feeling of looking into the curtain was so warm and comfortable.. let the old man who was tired of walking the day felt very relaxed ~ This time we stayed for 3 nights, the amenities provided by the host were perfect and new, especially the questions asked about the front work were answered very quickly, really worth recommending, would definitely choose to stay there again sometime💕

It is such an accessible place from the center of Kyoto! The host is kind and the room is so clean.

Three of us ladies stayed here for a few days. Comfortable, spacious and clean accommodation with all the facilities we needed including the washer. Close to bus stop but Kyoto station takes about 20 mins. All major attractions took us about 45-55 mins by bus. It was not too bad. Overall , recommended.

We stayed at this Kyoto house for an extended period and really enjoyed it. The location was great—just a short walk to Omiya Station and a 7-Eleven only 2 minutes away. The host was very kind and friendly. When we accidentally broke a plate and offered to pay, he cared about our safety first and didn’t ask for compensation. The house is traditional, so sounds from footsteps and stairs can be heard. There’s only one bathroom and toilet. The washing machine has no dryer, so we used a coin laundry 5 minutes away, but the host provided detergent, which was thoughtful. There are two rooms—one for 3 people upstairs, and a smaller room for 2 downstairs, which was a bit cold. Two of us chose to sleep in the living room with the heater and TV. As we stayed long-term, the host kindly asked us to help clean, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a warm and pleasant stay!
