Family-friendly holiday rentals in Taganana, Santa Cruz de Tenerife

We had a wonderful stay in Puerto de la Cruz. Luisa is a lovely host who replies quickly and is very happy to give local recommendations. She even met us very late on our first night (1am!) to let us in and show us around the property. The house itself is large and beautiful and very well-equipped for a big group. We had everything we needed to cook for a week as a group of nine, and more than enough space. The heated pool really is amazing and was such a treat in early May. Highly recommend this house!

Der Check-in und die Begrüßung durch Markus waren sehr herzlich – sogar an Wein und Schokolade zur Ankunft wurde gedacht. Die Sauberkeit war absolut top, und der Blick aufs Meer sowie die Terrasse sind einfach unschlagbar. Die Möbel sind hochwertig, und in der Küche findet man wirklich alles, was man zum Kochen braucht – inklusive frischer Kaffeebohnen für den Vollautomaten. Rundum ein schöner Aufenthalt!

I honestly didn’t want to write this review to gate keep it, however that would not be fair. 10/10 I only have positive things to say about the house as well as Lorenzo. The apartment was super clean and only a beautiful walk away from the city center, the only tiny little downside is that when it’s busy it can be hard to find a parking space but don’t let that stop you. Lorenzo was an absolute amazing host, He is super kind and so easy to communicate with and always ready to help! We wanted to check out a bit later and that was no problem, He was there to greet us when we arrived even after we had an delay and arrived much later than planned he was still there with a lot of warmth and kindness that made us feel super welcomed! He also helped with finding a parking space and kept communicating our whole stay. Even tried to make an effort to come and say bye to us.The apartment has an amazing view of the mountains and sea.Thank you so much for everything Lorenzo!😊

appartement très bien équipé, très propre, avec une vue imprenable. La place de parking est un plus non négligeable. la localisation permet de rayonner facilement sur toute l île. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. merci à Dahiana pour ses explications très claires pour trouver l appartement et sa réactivité à nos questions .

La casa era perfetta, grandissima e comoda. Siamo stati davvero bene, molto vicina a tutte le attrazioni. Speriamo di tornarci.

We were absolutely happy with our stay at the villa! Our host Daniel did everything he could to make our time as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The view was stunning, and the walk down to the beach was a little adventure in itself. We were a group of 7 adults and one baby, and the house was perfectly suited for us. A baby crib was provided, and Daniel even brought us a baby bathtub, which we really appreciated. There was plenty of space for everyone! Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to use the cinema room downstairs, but it looked amazing and very impressive. We had a wonderful time and can absolutely recommend this place. Hemos pasado unos días muy agradables en este alojamiento de María. La casa es amplia, cómoda, completamente dotada con todo lo necesario y con el plus del jacuzzi y la zona de barbacoa. Intentaremos repetir, sin duda !!!.

From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The apartment was calm, clean, and incredibly relaxing. We loved the warm pool, the quiet atmosphere, and the convenience of having parking. It felt like a peaceful retreat in a great location. Would definitely stay again!

Davide was very helpful and welcoming. The villa had stunning views, was very clean and spacious and was well equipped. The location was quiet and peaceful and a short 15mins drive to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely consider returning to this villa. I would highly recommend.

wir haben uns sehr gefreut diese Oase gefunden und gebucht zu haben 🌞 wunderschöne Finca mit allem was dazu gehört incl toller Gastgeber. super Lage und grandioser Ausblick im Garten. da bucht man gerne wieder 👍

Wir haben 10 Tage bei Cynthia und Carlos verbracht. Die beiden und ihre Kinder sind einfach wunderbare Menschen. Carlos war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns u.a. sehr geholfen, als wir am ersten Tag in Puerto de la Cruz bestohlen wurden. Das Haus liegt in den Bergen mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Die Anfahrt ist beim ersten Mal etwas abenteuerlich, aber spektakulär. Das Holzhaus ist wie beschrieben und unsere Kinder haben sich jeden Morgen riesig über den Besuch der Hühner auf der Terrasse sowie die frischen Eier gefreut. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

This was one special stay! This cave is a sacred and cozy spot full of an amazing energy. The place more spatious than it seemed in the pictures and super comfortable with everything you need inside. It didn’t take long for us to feel at home. The hosts were very responsive and detail-oriented, providing us in the cave with all things you may need to make you feel right at home. You definitely need a car to move around as there is nothing really within walking distance. But we love the quietness and remoteness of this space. It has a beautiful terace where we chilled and made a grill, and also a terace on top of the cave where you have an amazing view of the region and the ocean. We spent two weeks there and this cave made our stay 10 times more special! Thank you so much 💚

We have just had a great few days at Carmen Rosa’s apartment. When we got there we met Tamara’s mother who made us so welcome!! We were after a complete chill out break and this is what we got. The apartment I had everything you need, including a large balcony terrance which catches the sun most of the day. I would certainly recommend a car for your visit. There are a couple of local supermarkets but 2 larger ones (including a Lidl) only a few minutes drive away. The apartment is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed just sitting watching the boats come in and out of the harbour. I would really recommend This apartment.

On se sent comme chez soi ,bon sejour,bonne literie ,linge de maison important .andres reste reactif par mail. Nous sommes ravis .

Fuimos un grupo de 4 personas al norte de Tenerife, principalmente para recorrer sus senderos y disfrutar de la gastronomía. La casa de José Ángel cumplió las expectativas porque se encuentra cerca de Anaga, La Laguna, Puerto de la Cruz, Icod, etc, que es lo principal que queríamos visitar; todo muy accesible a través de la autopista que se encuenta a 2/3 Km. La casa está alto en el municipio, por lo que se debe llevar algo de abrigo (dependiendo de la época del año). La casa se encuentra en una carretera con pendiente, por lo que aconsejo aparcar en un rellano de la carretera a unos 30 o 40 metros de la puerta y subir andando ya que se necesita cierta habilidad para maniobrar con coche. El salón, cocina y dormitorios están muy bien equipados y son cómodos. Los dormitorios se acceden a través de una escalera de caracol (no apta para niños muy pequeños). José Ángel nos regaló muy gentilmente una botella de vino de la zona. Las vistas desde la azotea son maravillosas. Volveremos!!!

Le logement d’Olga est tout simplement incroyable, il dispose de tout ce que l’on pourrait avoir besoin. La vue, la proximité avec les transports en commun et les commerces, les piscines… tout nous permet de passer d’excellentes vacances à Ténérife. De plus, Olga est une personne très gentille et à notre disposition pour toute nécessité 😍 Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Had a great stay at this apartment. The view was incredible with the sunset. Nice little balcony for drinks or breakfast. The place had everything I needed. Access to the pool is a nice add. Best thing about this place are the owners. Locked myself out by accident and they came as quickly as possible, which was very appreciated. Always there for recommendations or questions. Little tip; parking spots directly at the apartment are hard to find after 5:00 PM. You can park in the streets around but be careful of the one-way and narrow streets. If you can, walk to the nice close local restaurants (Melita, Baja Surf Cafe, Nami Surf Club).

Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in dit authentieke vakantieverblijf! Verwacht geen (materiële) luxe zoals een witmarmeren vloer, vaatwasser of netflix. Het huis ademt echter veel sfeer en is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor als je het hele eiland wilt ontdekken, de rust en ruimte wilt opzoeken en niet houdt van grote toeristische oorden. De tuin is grandioos en er is ook veel binnenruimte, al hebben we vooral gebruik gemaakt van de veranda en het privézwembad. Cande is een superaardige host die samen met haar echtgenoot boven het vakantieverblijf woont, terwijl je privacy volledig gegarandeerd is. We werden zelfs getrakteerd op heerlijke, speciaal voor ons bereide paella. Wat parkeren betreft: bespaar jezelf de moeite om binnen het hek te parkeren, maar zet de auto op een van de vele parkeerplaatsen aan de doorgaande weg. Van daaruit is het nog 30 meter (steil) omhoog lopen naar de ingang van de tuin.

We had the pleasure of staying at Xavier’s little paradise. If you’re looking for a place where you can find peace and be surrounded by beautiful tropical flora, book this place! The house is very comfortable, with a good mattress and pillows, and everything you need to prepare nice meals. Xavier is an excellent and extremely kind host. We’ll definitely book this place again!

Wir wurden von Veronicas Eltern sehr herzlich und symphatisch empfangen, sie zeigten uns liebevoll sowohl die Wohnung wie auch die nähere Umgebung. Die Wohnung entspricht in jeder Hinsicht absolut den Fotos, tolle Ausstattung und extrem sauber. Der direkte Blick auf den Atlantik ist unbeschreiblich schön und eindrucksvoll. Es gibt einen privaten Stellplatz in der angrenzenden Garage, was super bequem ist. Die Kommunikation mit Veronica ist sehr sympathisch und reaktionsschnell, in jeder Hinsicht toll. Wir haben uns wirklich gleich wie Zuhause gefühlt, ein größeres Komplment kann man eigentlich keiner Gastgeberin machen. Ein ganz herzlichen Gracias an Veronica und ihre super sympathischen Eltern, wir (Anne und Frank) kommen gerne einmal wieder nach Tabaiba, Saludos cordiales !

La experiencia en casa de Jesus y Vicky ha sido muy buena. La casa es muy amplia, con piscina privada y un amplio patio. Estaba muy limpia. En cuanto a los anfitriones, han sido muy amables, respondían muy rápido a todas nuestras dudas, nos ofrecieron dejarnos algo de compra ya que nuestro avión llego muy tarde y fueron flexibles con el horario de salida de la casa. En definitiva, 100% recomendable.

We didn’t meet Alejandra in person, but the communication was still easy, very friendly and fast. The area is rather quiet, but Lidl is close (which is quite useful) and with a car you can reach a lot of cool places close by :) we felt safe in the neighbourhood and the apartment was as described. Thanks!☺️

Lovely flat in a peaceful area right by the beach, comfortably furnished and well-equipped. There’s a scenic coastal trail just next to the flat that’s perfect for watching the sunrise. Although there was some construction nearby, it wasn’t disruptive at all. Laura was a wonderful host—very welcoming and checked in multiple times to see if I needed anything. The only minor drawback is that, being on the ground floor, the flat doesn’t get a lot of natural light. However, it’s not a big issue, especially if you keep the window open.
