At the gateway to Őrség, on the shores of Lake Borostyán, we welcome those who want to relax, swim in a wonderful natural environment, enjoy water sports, hiking, cycling and fishing. In addition to the well-maintained, shady beach, buffets, and promenade, there is also a separately enclosed dog-friendly beach. The apartment is on the north side of the house, so the temperature does not rise above 24°C even on the hottest summer days, and an air cooler also supports the ideal climate. As a guest, we welcome you with a pumpkin and poppy seed cake!

Enjoy at spacious outdoor place in rustic green environment, within walking distance of a large thermal complex and a golf course. This open-space appartment is entirely on the same level (including the shower in the bathroom); the passages between the individual parts are easy to pass also for disabled people. It shares a large yard and the garden with another apartment. Available are a grill and bicycles for wandering along the picturesque cycling trails in the area. Pets are wellcome.

We have preserved the old buildings: the residential house and the barn have been reborn as a modern, comfortable, refined guest house. The apartment "Max" has a bedroom with double bed, a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave/grill, dishwasher and breakfast table, a cozy living room with dining area and couch and a private terrace. Enjoy the hot tub and sauna overlooking our forest sheep or indulge yourself at the grill in the outdoor kitchen!

Ban house in Barabásseg

The Bán family were nobles who determined the everyday life of Barabásszeg and Zala counties for centuries. The family left the house and the village and no one even remembered that its painted ceiling, spacious interior, old furniture, cellar and huge garden were the miracle itself. The deer are used to it, and the walnut, pear and plum trees are burial grounds for them. The renovation has preserved everything possible, we are also at peace with the deer and share the garden.

Upon thorough renovation in 2021, the house has been adapted to the modern way of living, yet it retained its original charm and soul.

Our guest house is located in Szattán, a small village in Őrség. The cottage has a sauna, a garden with a fireplace, and the village orchard is located directly below the house. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a hob, a small fridge, a coffee maker and a kettle. You'll find everything you need to cook and eat. The following fee is payable on site: In the village, the tourist tax rate is 400 HUF/person/night over 18 years. Sauna usage fee is 10000 HUF per heating.
