We only stayed at Kathleen‘s place one night and we didn’t check in until 9:30. But this place was a gem. My husband is a sucker for old houses and we both loved this place. The work that Kathleen and her husband put into it shows. We wish we had more time to spend here. One other thing to mention was we were not able to get the TV to work and I messaged Kathleen about it and within 15 minutes her husband was there and got it working for us. It was operator error. We are old. What can I say? I really appreciate that. We would definitely stay here again.

This quiet home in Albert Lea was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. Erin and Nick were very easy to contact and quick to respond. There is a lovely park on the lake 5 minutes walking from the home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone passing through Minnesota.

The home was perfect for our one night stay. Comfortable living area and spacious. Two of the beds are queen size so there was a good amount of bed space. It is walking distance to the water and disc golf course (which my family loves). We would stay here again.

We stayed at Lou's lovely little house for 10 days and was happy to have it! We were working all over Iowa and used the house and Thompson as a "base camp." Lou has everything you need there to feel comfortable and right at home. Met lots of friendly folks in town as we walked the dog. Great value for your own dog-friendly abode. Next time we're working in the area, hopefully Lou's place will be available!

Inn the Barn, so Suite!

This place is a great find! It’s very cozy and has a lot of amenities inside and outside of the barn. There were all kinds of accessories and the whole place is decorated so so very beautiful. This is a very peaceful place and easy to get to the owners are very responsive and very kind. I will definitely be back here when I return to this location! And I have forwarded information to siblings whom I know will be in the area soon.
