Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Swarland

Easy to find, beach 5 mins from property, the house was well kitted out and very dog friendly, within easy reach of shops. Be aware of the places to walk your dog on the beach ( times of the year) as the neighbour pointed out they fine you £1000 and have wardens who do check. We used the house as a base to discover the stunning coast line / Villages, Holy Island a must see. Gary was a great host and left fresh bread and milk /juice for when we arrived. We would recommend this place

Immaculate property. Lovely big kitchen/ dining / living area, with an additional living room- well equipped with beautiful old books and lots of games. Gorgeous garden, very private, and amazing views. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely linen and towels. Very clean and tidy. Everything we wanted and more. We were a group of 8 ladies on a walking / yoga weekend- and we loved everything. We can’t wait to return.

Second time staying at this beautiful cottage and hopefully not our last. Such a nice location, John and Marion are great hosts. The cottage is spotless and has lots of nice touches. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay with easy access to all the wonderful beaches this area has on offer! Cottage was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean, felt very much at home. Cottage is set in a wonderfully quiet location that is very conducive to a great nights sleep. Would hope to return and would definitely recommend!

Great stay at Mollys Cottage , This place is fantastic and as described on listing. Smooth check in, owner is there to greet you and show you round and give you any information you require, Lovely touches like cake left for you on arrival and compimentry drink in local pub . The whole place is idyllic from the log fire to garden and fantastic hot tub , i would recommend this place to anyone you wont be disapointed ,we will be back as theres plenty to explore in this region and weve found a great base to stay.

Although not much to do in Bedlington itself , it was a great base for exploring Northumberland. It was a lovely cozy cottage. Tastefully decorated. comfortable bed. Enjoyed our stay

I had the most amazing time on this holiday. Airbnb says a home away from home and this is the first time I've felt that to be true. Place was clean and minimal but with enough touches to give it character and make it feel cosy creating that sense of home. As a solo female traveller the place felt safe and secure and was quiet but being in the centre of Alnwick it didn't at all feel isolated. I did a long weekend away here with my dog and have already decided that is not enough we will be returning to this exact Airbnb in 2026! We had such a great stay at The Forge. Mary’s cottage was exactly as described and pictured. So clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Mary was so helpful to provide tips and recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We had the best time exploring the surrounding areas and could have stayed busy for days. Really such magical little corner of the world. We hope to come back someday.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A really lovely little bothy in a beautiful spot. Perfect for a weekend break. We were breaking a journey north but it would be ideal for a few days walking or cycling. Thanks so much Marcelle and Alan and the dogs!

A lovely place to stay. The flat is beautifully decorated throughout. We loved staying there. It was calming and relaxing and the bed was extremely comfortable, excellent mattress. The whole place was very thoughtfully equipped with everything you may need for your stay. A stone's throw from the seaftont with lovely shops and restaurants nearby. And the metro station a short walk away can take you anywhere in the area. We would love to stay again. Highly recommended.

This was a great find. Alison has catered for every little detail - experience built up over many years. The generosity of the welcome hamper and milk in the fridge was really appreciated. We had two excellent evening meals at the Milecastle Inn and would thoroughly recommend, as Alison had.

Niel‘s place was great, a secure and quiet location and Niel and Karen were friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was perfect for the two of us for a short visit. Would definitely recommend.

Danielle’s flat was spotlessly clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you need. It’s near to the beautiful Northumberland park and local shops and resturant dare nearby. I would highly recommend a stay and would definitely return.

Ken's apartment was excellent. Clean, spacious, well appointed and right in the middle of town with easy access to shops restaurants and pubs. 5 minute walk to the river walks and the gates of Floors Castle. would highly recommend a stay

We had the most wonderful memorable stay at Leaholme cottages. Lynn was an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond helping with our requests for extras in the cottage . We were so grateful to check in early too. The cottage is beautiful, tastefully decorated but so welcoming, spotless and homely. Location was fantastic, we would recommend this beautiful pad to all our friends and family and will definitely be back, we thoroughy recommend. Thank you Lynn

Fab stay at Diane's place. Lovely apartment equipped with everything you could need for a holiday. Loved the location which is peaceful and close to the beach and nature, yet also a great base for exploring.

We used Jen’s house as a stop over and it was very comfortable. Perfect distance from Newcastle City Centre and other areas.

Booked as I was working in the area and bored of hotels. It made a few days working away bearable. The apartment was exactly as described, immaculately clean and modern. Once inside it's really private no noise, and very calm decor. Kathryn was really responsive and keen to ensure I was comfortable and all needs met. Will definitely be booking again when staying in the North East for work, a lovely home away from home.

From start to finish I felt really at home at Lisa's place. I know there are comments from Lisa about the location, but actually I found it straightforward to commute into Newcastle city centre on public transport (a bus stop across the street and other options within a 10 minute walk). Even better by car as the motorway is nearby. I found that Lisa had made every effort to make me feel welcome and it was the additional things like providing shower gel, shampoo etc... and milk & bottled water in the fridge was a really nice touch. I would love to stay at Lisa's place again. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay. We have family in Newcastle but wanted to head further up into Northumberland. This location was perfect for popping to see them and going to the tourist places we wanted to see on this visit. Flat is really clean and beautifully presented. As other reviews mention, the bed is sumptuous and quality label linens are used. Coffee and biscuits were a lovely extra. We visited the pub one evening for dinner and would really recommend a visit. Great value and really welcoming staff. If we lived in the area it would definitely be our local! Would certainly return to The Stable Yard and have no hesitation in recommending to anyone we knew who was visiting the area and looking for somewhere to stay

Had a great stay at Helen’s! Perfectly located with lots of cafes and a short walk to the beach, we did the coastal walk to Rileys fish shack. Convenient location near to the metro too! Really cosy and had everything we needed :) Helen was great at communicating , would highly recommend staying here and we will hopefully be back again. We also saw dolphins at tynemouth! Thank you!!
