Holiday rentals with lake access in Swansea

We absolutely loved our time at Sand Lakehouse! It is a beautiful place to unwind and watch the water; so much bird activity on and around the lake, it was just wonderful. The house itself is spacious and appointed thoughtfully, and there was nothing we lacked. The fire pit made for a fun night of toasting marshmallows and the local ducks provided much entertainment. The bliss of having a cup of tea on the jetty cannot be overstated! Stephen was a responsive and helpful host, and there's even an IGA within walking distance for anything you've forgotten. A great place to stay; we would highly recommend.

Sonia’s House is in a quiet community with beautiful views. Wake up with birds as your Alarm Clock. A Gorgeous Kitchen with all the utensils you need to feed the family. A chemical free non toxic environment, is very much appreciated. Thank you ☺️

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this lovely Airbnb. Morgan was very nice: from the warm welcome to thoughtful little touches that made the house feel like home. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the restaurants and stores, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit of heart in the stay.

Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely book again in the future. The house is so charming--we loved the coastal grandma decor--and the pizza oven and outdoor bar made it feel like we were on a real holiday, not just a weekend away 90 minutes from Sydney. The nearest beach is less than 5 minutes walk and there are plenty of other coastal options within 5 minutes drive. Nick had clear instructions and shared plenty of info before our arrival. Can't wait for our next stay!

We had an amazing stay at Alex’s place. The accommodation was clean and tidy when we arrived. The outdoor space was large, comfortable and covered. The kitchen was outstanding and had a huge fridge and was well stocked with all kitchen appliances and amenities. Two bathrooms were well stocked and functional. The air conditioner was also super helpful as it was really hot when we stayed, but the house was kept super cool. We would 100% recommend and would stay there again in a heart beat

We stayed in Kate’s place over a weekend to celebrate some significant birthdays with the family ranging in age from 71 to 0. It suited us perfectly! Well equipped for babies through to more elderly. 3 bathrooms, laundry and 5 bedrooms with separate TV room. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, cosy fireside and fun on the lake at the bottom of the garden. Take board games and books. Location worked very well for us as some travelled from Sydney and some from Newcastle on a Friday evening. Can thoroughly recommend.

A beautiful peaceful location and property. Lots to do close by. Fantastic having kayaks & paddle boards on site. Highly recommend for a fun and relaxing getaway.

We had a really comfortable stay in Warwick's apartment. Everything is as described, great location, quiet, easy, and Warwick is great to deal with. Even though it's freezing outside the apartment stays warm. Would stay again.

Bernadette’s place is a great find! Beautiful view overlooking the pool and lake, and the complimentary coffee/tea/cookies were a nice touch. Bed was also super comfy! Would definitely stay here again

Beth is a warm and gracious host and the studio is really spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was a generous complimentary selection of snacks and fruits, which was an extremely welcoming touch in case you were a bit peckish on arrival. The garden is a beautiful space in which to relax as well - I just wished we'd had time to try out the BBQ! Beth's place is within striking distance of Palm Beach or Avalon Beach and we always walked (allow 30-40 minutes to either); alternatively, the #199 bus services Barrenjoey Road every 5-10 minutes. We found Beth's place to be an excellent base for enjoying and exploring the area and highly recommend this place to others.

A wonderful weekend spent here, view of Brisbane Water from balcony. Short walk to scenic waterfront, Gosford Sailing Club, Fisherman’s Wharf, and close to Gosford and Erina Fair, Terrigal beach and other attractions. Quiet, comfortable and lovely decor. All amenities needed for a comfortable stay in the apartment. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Shubo.

Loved sitting on the verandah having a cup of tea and watching the birds and hearing the ocean. Beds very comfy, beautiful, relaxing space and enjoyed your dog Coco and cat Hazel coming to check on us. Will definately tell my friends about your place, and am sure, when given the opportunity, we will be back.

Loved our stay at Avoca Breezes, Wayne and Sheryn were great hosts, we were able to get an extended check out time which was great. The Apartment has everything you need and is nestled in a hillside, it’s a short walk to the centre, which is a must for breakfast and a walk on the beach. We came for some R&R and we got it thank you again, for our perfect few days getaway

Perfect place for a small family with children. Location is private, quiet and driving distance to everything. Neighbourhood was fun and interesting to explore. Our daughter loved all the animals within the neighbourhood and also loved walking to and from the lake. Great stay. Highly recommend. Jimmy is a great host who really checks in with you to ensure everything is going smoothly and to your standards.

Sally's cottage was the perfect place for my partner and I to stay for the weekend. It had everything we needed and so much more! The space was spotless and had beautiful details throughout the room. It was clear that a lot of heart and care had gone into the space. It had lovely views over their property to wake up to and plenty of spots to enjoy it. On top of that Sally was a wonderful host! She checked in with us the day before with very clear instructions and made sure we had everything we needed. She also baked us some lovely goodies and had stocked us up with fresh eggs and milk. The perfect host and a perfect stay! We highly recommend Mindaribba Cottage and would love to go back if we are back in the area.

We had a relaxing stay at Mark's place, the location is amazing, right across from the beach and next to lagoon. 2 min walk to shops and 10 min walk to surf club, made it a very handy location. The decor was excellent, Mark has carried out a great renovation on the little beach house, it was very warm and inviting for duration of our stay.

Brendon’s place is beautiful! The view is gorgeous and it was such a lovely stay. The fire made the house especially cosy and we loved having brekkie on the deck enjoying the sun. Brendon is also super kind and helpful. Really appreciated his responsiveness and how he ensured we had everything we needed.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Moneesha’s cottage. From the moment we arrived, Moneesha was incredibly hospitable. She kindly let us check in early and check out late, which made our trip even more relaxing. The cottage itself was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The serene setting by Lake Munmorah made it a truly restful escape. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and styled to perfection, creating such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. It was incredibly comfortable for our dog, and we loved how pet-friendly the space was. The location is fantastic as well – within easy walking distance to cafes and the dog beach, which was a huge bonus for us. The only downside was the traffic noise from the busy road outside. While everything else was perfect, this may be something to consider if your sleep is impacted by this type of noise. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others!

What a gem! Our stay at this stunning cottage was faultless. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, great communication, very accommodating, and gave us excellent local tips (Toronto Hotel for dinner and Mizumi for takeaway were both great). We were spoilt with a welcome gift of wine and chocolate Easter bunnies and eggs, such a lovely touch. The cottage was spotless, beds were super comfy with beautiful linen, and the big fluffy towels, bathroom amenities made it feel like a luxury hotel. All the extras were thought of, oils and seasonings for cooking, even washing capsules and stain remover, a lifesaver when traveling with kids! We fished off the jetty daily (caught a Bream, Flathead, Octopus, Crab, Whiting), used the kayaks, and relaxed in the cosy TV room. We enjoyed the fire pit one night too, with wood provided. The cottage is even better than the photos. 100% recommend and hope to return soon!
