For a couple or friends, rent this modern, compact 36 square metre cottage, located in beautiful surroundings a 45-minute drive from Reykjavík. Wake up to a stunning view of mountains and a salmon river, watch the bird life in summer, and enjoy coffee on the porch if the weather allows. In the winter darkness, you might enjoy a view of the Northern lights, but on a cloudy evening, you can watch the 50" satellite TV. Fully equipped kitchen, small washing machine and a hot tub.

The Aspen Annex

Take a break and unwind in our peaceful annex, conveniently located for hikes to the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and a wealth of amenities in Hveragerði. The annex has a private entrance, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and basic cooking facilities (added in January 2026). You will also have exclusive use of the garden hot tub, a tranquil escape nestled among the birch and aspen trees. Please note that we have a very friendly dog who you may meet!
