Cottage holiday rentals in Suwannee River

My family was looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this lake house was the perfect place for us! The lake views from the living room were spectacular. The house was charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The peacocks roamed the yard throughout the day and were a pleasant sight to see. The dock was enjoyed by the whole family! We watched beautiful sunsets. My sons used the kayak. We fished for crappie and caught a few! We brought our small fishing boat and cruised around Lake Harris. We made our way to the famous Dora Canal. The boat launch is minutes away from the house. We walked to the delicious bakery a mile away for morning coffee and pastries. The host was so helpful and available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay at this charming and serene lake house!

I'd recommend this place. The golf cart is a game changer getting to and from the beach. Lynne has everything you need for the beach! House is spotless, private setting. You can't go wrong here!

The cabin was immaculate with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The renters were even kind enough to supply a crock pot at our request so we could enjoy the lake while the dinner cooked itself. There was an issue with the AC, which typically could ruin a weekend. Our hosts did a walk through prior to our arrival and found the problem and had if fixed before it could ever be an issue. Their communication with us was fantastic and they were a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them to anyone. We have stayed at this particular campground for several years and there are some full time residents that have been very unwelcoming. This is not a reflection on our hosts. Other host in the campground have also been very wonderful.

Great place with all the added touches. Very relaxing and comfortable and quiet. We stayed just for a quick overnight and were able to walk to local brewery and also uber to a restaurant close by. Very thoughtful extras- including everything you may need. Would recommend if you are in the area.

The location was fantastic; when we got there, it even looked better in person. It had all the necessities and was a fairly roomy cabin/camper. A huge advantage was the patio and grill. We would definitely return; it's a nice pace for a quick getaway.

This was definitely my family’s favorite vacation we’ve been on so far. Aside from the amazing fishing we did, the Peach house and the neighborhood that it is in kept my entire family busy. The pool was great and my boys stayed in there as much as possible, all the games at the pool were fun, my baby girl loved the goats and chickens at the petting zoo, and I enjoyed the convenience of the boat slip and the boat ramp right next door to the property. This place is also located perfectly in my opinion with it being far enough from busy area that traffic and noise isn’t an issue but your still a 5 min golf cart ride to the restraunts and stores. We cannot wait to return to the peach house and hopefully stay a little longer.

Everything about this cottage was perfect! The location had a little trail right across the street to the beach. My mom and I stayed there for Mother’s Day week and LOVED everything about it. The hot tub was perfect! And the jasmine smell so good. Tamara was amazing with recommendations and communication!

Marissa was a great host! Very responsive and welcoming! Her home was clean and so peaceful! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway!

Such a peaceful stay, the hosts were very responsive and accommodating, beautiful little cozy cabin, and the little town of Astor was a nice quiet relaxing place to stay.

Amazing! Walking distance to downtown, and right next door to Fish Camp. They have a gas firepit out back with marshmellows and milanos (yum!). Everything was clean and dog friendly. Valerie was super friendly. I was also impressed that they left fresh Publix creamer in the fridge so I could enjoy a cup of coffee right away. I hope to stay here again next time I visit St. Augustine.

Chris’s place was amazing! The best location imagine, close to everything fun but very quiet and peaceful at night. Loved the private yard with a shower that we could wheel the Beach wagon and gear in and not have to carry the stuff into a house (we had our own bikes we also conveniently locked right in the yard, but highly recommend renting bikes, it was a great biking area.). Upstairs deck was also amazing. The kitchen is pristine with all modern appliances, and the washer and dryer were nice when we had to dry a couple things. The heatless fire gave a calming ambience in the common room for chatting and catching up with some old friends. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Debbie and Chris were so responsive and kind even way before I checked in. Their place was awesome for my trip! Two bikes - amazing perk since you can bike the whole town easily. Also easy walking to everything or like 3-5 minute drive to downtown. Great spot for our Cumberland Island tour trip. Cottage B is fantastic with the outdoor pergolas with fans and couch, grill, and table. Well worth the price! Would recommend to any friends or family members for future endeavors.

Top Airbnb experience for us. comfortable, clean, ideally located. Doesn't feel like one of the hollow cheap fake places I've found on airbnb -- it's a real small business being run with care and attention to detail. Plenty of dishes, pans, kitchen essentials. backyard was spacious and fenced -- comfy for our dog. glad we picked this spot for our weekend trip to Jekyll Island!

Cozy, well-stocked cottage with a beautiful view and convenient to everything Cedar Key has to offer. Love the screen porch and the outdoor seating on the grounds. Perfect for two people and our dog. We cooked meals and had everything we needed. #cedarkeystrong

The home was extremely beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. The neighbors were very friendly and the property/landscaping was nice. I would definitely recommend staying there if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. The gifts and snacks that were left for us was a plus, greatly appreciated. Definitely the best hosts in Jacksonville.

Jason’s communication was excellent from start to finish. The unit was absolutely beautiful and we were very comfortable. I love that it was in a safe and peaceful neighborhood but very close to all of the St. Augustine fun. We will be back for sure! 10/10 recommend

The river house is such a peaceful get away right on the river. Everything was exactly as described. Hosts were super very responsive and courteous. Felt like talking to a friend. Thank you for the stay hope to stay again next year.

My friend and I stayed a couple nights at the Glass House so we could enjoy the nearby Rainbow Springs and Silver Springs. We felt right at home on the property and the home is cozy with a peaceful view. We sat each morning and evening on the back porch. Anabel is welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend for a nature getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay! The Airbnb was perfectly located, just a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and historic sights. It was the ideal spot for exploring St. Augustine. Highly recommend!

My stay did not go as expected and we had to leave right away. I prefer to not go into detail because I know the host will fix the problem before anyone else stays at the property. The host was extremely empathetic and responsive. The home was immaculate. Her attention to detail and desire to equip the property with anything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay was most appreciated. We only hope we get the opportunity to stay at this lovely property with this lovely host again in the future and can have a redo. This host goes above and beyond in every way and the property is absolutely to die for. I could live there for the rest of my life and I own a beautiful waterfront home. My only advice is to book a few nights longer if you are on the fence, because if you don't, you will regret it!

This place is so beautiful! Sipping your coffee outside in the morning looking at all the trees was bliss. Gerardo is very kind and super responsive. A strong storm rolled through during our stay and blew a tree into the long driveway/road to the house. He had someone there within 30 minutes with a chain saw getting the road cleared. I feel like this was a “real” Florida experience and just what we needed to start off our summer. The main house is gorgeous and will bring more family with me next time for our stay and there will definitely be a next time!
