A "Tiny Cabin", there is 1 full bed. No sleeper sofa. The kitchen counters are refurbished old barn doors, the long wall is pallet wood, the wood floors have been torched and sealed for a rustic look. The cabin is 12x20, perfect for two guests and a small child can sleep on the loveseat (not a pullout) There is one full bed in the cabin. It is a dry cabin, (no ability to shower) We do provide a counter top water system (5 gallon jugs) to freshen up and bottled water in the refrigerator.

We do not have television or hot running water; our bathroom is a cozy outhouse.

This place was excellent for our elopement weekend! We rented two of the cabins for friends and family and they loved it. Everything was clean and organized. Justin was incredibly responsive when we messaged him and his instructions for check out were clear. We really appreciated the blinds since it stays light for much of the day. We will stay again if we are back in Wasilla!

There is nowhere better to stay than Peggy's. Definitely a hidden gem! We are in town for a flightseeing tour. The place is lovely and way beyond our expectations. Kids jad a great time watching cartoon and playing legos while eating popcorns. We had a hearty breakfast with oatmeals, nuts, and hot chocolate.

Our family of five plus two grandparents just spent 5 nights at Mary Jane’ s place in Willow. We had an absolute blast. We drove an hour north to hike the Curry Ridge Trail with beautiful views of Denali national park. Then we went to Snowhook Adventures, about 10 minutes away, for a dog sled and Utv tour. This was a blast! The next day, we mined for gold near Talkeetna and took a train ride and jet boat tour with Mahay’s. The next day, we hiked ThunderBird Falls. All about an hour or less away. So the house was centrally located for all our adventures. Regarding the house, it was so ,comfortable, welcoming and nice and clean! I have never stayed in an Airbnb that had all the amenities that I value so readily available. Bear spray and water bottles for hikes, sharp knives, plenty of paper towels, laundry and cleaning supplies. I can’t recommend Mary Jane as a host and this property enthusiastically enough! Thanks so much for the great time!!

We needed a simple and affordable cabin (with a shower) in the Wasilla/Willow area for a quick overnight. It was exactly as advertised. It was clean, and arranged/supplied/decorated to efficiently maximize comfort in the cozy space. The main bed was very comfy and my son reports he slept fine on the fold out couch/bed. Her check in/out directions were clear and easy to follow. Since the property has Nancy Lake access, I was trying to squeeze in some kayaking into our tight travel schedule. So I had lots of extra questions that I messaged her about re Kayak rentals and possibly arriving early to kayak before check in etc. Maggie answered each of my extra messages promptly which was very helpful for planning purposes. Her cleaning fee was affordable compared to the crazy high cleaning fees on some properties, so we made sure to do our part by leaving it tidy, washing and putting away all dishes used, and even pre stripped the bed sheets so it would be quicker cleaning for her after.
