Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.

Deshka Landing Charters & Lodge is a 90 minute drive northwest of Anchorage. We are off the beaten path surrounded by the beauty and wildlife of Alaska. A good hub while you explore Central Alaska including: Denali National Park, Matanuska Glacier, Talkeetna and Hatcher Pass. The Coho dry cabin has a mini-fridge, microwave, heater and electricity. Not your ordinary cabins, the Inn has tucked these spacious beauties back in in private little settings. A full breakfast is served at 8:30 in the dining room at the Farmhouse or on the expansive porch at the Farmhouse just down the road.
