The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm. You can join us in caring for them on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full-time work and have four small children.

Hå us you also want to borrow a canoe and kayak(mindful we require that you have a kayak class at- for your own safety.) Vestar and fishing equipment we have available. Short distance to experiences both to Gaularfjellet, Jølster, Førde and Sunnfjord. Otherwise, there are nice stool tours close to the cabin

This beautiful house extends for over 250 sq.m, including a 70-sq.m terrace, and invites you to relax in comfortable surrounds in the stunning Viksdalen Valley. There are wonderful fishing spots in the Gaular River.Fossestien's waymarked paths provide many different mountain trails. In the evening, you can lounge on the terrace with its 7-seat Jacuzzi, gas barbecue, and garden furniture. There are sheets and towels in the house. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Here is a steep staircase, but there are railings. It is an older house and it is on a farm.
