In summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the Northern Lights. There are great hiking trails and the possibility for mountain hikes.

Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua has history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with her sisters, they made a living as seamstresses. A few years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband Prost Steffensen took over. When he died, Valborg moved to her children and the house stood empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They have taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad, you have panoramic views of the natural elements from the inside.

Brand new bathroom with toilet and shower. Unfortunately, there is no public transport available, but there is free parking. Here you have everything you need, from bed linen to towels. Just walk right in, relax and enjoy ☺️ There is also a fire pit that you can enjoy ☺️ If you're lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights :)

Guest apartment in a great detached house in quiet surroundings in the countryside, about three quarters by car from Bodø. Surrounded by forests, mountains and the sea. Close to sights such as Saltstraumen, Svartisen and Langsand on Sandhornøy. Good conditions for fishing in all ways, sea and water. Bedroom with large double bed. Sofa also possible for a 3rd person. Also a removable guest bed. There is also an available bedroom in the rest of the building, but the use of this must be agreed upon.

Bring the whole family for cozy up in the main cabin at Cool Cabins, on beautiful Sandhornøy. Here you will find ready-made beds, and everything you would need for a nice stay. There is access to beach on the property, fishing opportunities, as well as plenty of hiking opportunities and excursions nearby. We recommend a trip to Elias Blix cafe, possibly for the perfect trip up Sandhornet (993 meters). And perhaps your host can offer you a guided boat tour at a reasonable price.
