The cabin was substantially upgraded 2016. The annex is about 15 sqm. Have you and your family can enjoy sunny days fishing from land or boat. Cozy house with stunning view over Dolmsundet! Centrally located in the middle of Hitra and Frøya about 14 minutes drive to the center of both islands. The house is located on a quiet farm with access to the boathouse and pro 20 foot alu boat with 60hp, sonar and map plotter if you want to fish etc. The boat can be rented for NOK 1000 per day. The owner with family lives on the same farmhouse and is an experienced landlord for many years. There is also access to several fresh water with ear fishing to beach.

We absolutely loved our stay! We would return and recommend this host and cozy, rustic cottage very highly. Loved watching ships pass and the deer feeding out our window at dusk. A drive around the island takes less than 2 hours and provides a variety of non-stop beauty. Tone-Alice researched our family history and put us in touch with a distant relative. Service was just superb.

We stayed at the place for a weekend. Arrive before the agreed check-in time on Friday, which was unproblematic for the landlord. Both house and key were easy to figure out from instructions. The house has great views out over the Fro Sea and contained what we needed besides brought food and drinks. What we were missing could be purchased at Coop about 10 minutes from the house. Great starting point for both walks and exploring the fishing village otherwise.
