We had a truly wonderful stay – for all five of us! The house and the outdoor area were absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, charming, well maintained, and well equipped. The garden was stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and private. Ilaria and Francesco were the kindest hosts – helpful, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. We’re already thinking about coming back for a summer holiday (the pool and AC are perfect!). Great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. It was an amazing birthday trip and really good value. Martina’s entire estate is very peaceful and extremely beautiful. Just remember that it is really off the beaten path. She was so passionate about the property and making people feel right at home. It was one of the more beautiful places we stayed in all of Italy. Make sure to bring food up there with you before going. It is at least 35 min to town, but this is one of those places it is almost not worth leaving. Wish we had more time to stay there.

Wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft und dickes Dankeschön an Camilla die sich um alles kümmert. Bei uns zum Beispiel um die Reservierung eine Tennisplatzes. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

Villino Isotta è un alloggio che lascia senza fiato, super in ogni aspetto: posizione, pulizia, tutte le camere da letto sono climatizzate, le cucine ed i bagni ampiamente accessoriati, a pochi passi parcheggio gratuito e un caffè aperto fino a tarda sera. All'esterno un patio con vista sulle colline e poi il barbecue, e infine piscina dotata di ogni confort (doccia calda, vasca idromassaggio, lettini, wifi, ecc ecc). Ultimo ma non ultimo l'host Andrea, che ringrazio per l'incredibile e costante attenzione nei riguardi dei suoi ospiti dal primo istante (accogliendoci con un aperitivo di benvenuto) fino all'ultimo. Sempre presente ma mai invadente, sempre disponibile con consigli per rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile, una persona dal cuore immenso che gestisce con passione e serietà questo alloggio. E' stata dura tornare a casa, ci rivedremo sicuramente!

This home is the epitome of a classic villa in the chianti region. Lecchi is very a small village that is walkable to a market, bar & cafe, and one of the best dinner spots we visited in our entire trip to Italy - the Malborghetto restaurant is a must! We rented a car for this week of our trip, and would highly recommend doing so. There are many nearby villages with great trattorias and shopping options - and gorgeous views everywhere you turn. Casa di Lyndall is a roomy, well appointed home with all the amenities you could need. Very clean, and very comfortable, and the view out the front windows is beyond compare. Lyndall was very responsive and provided us with excellent recommendations of things to do during our stay. Clementina greeted us when we arrived and was so sweet and helpful. There is nothing we would change about our stay!

I took this trip with my sister to San Gimignano and it was absolutely incredible! The views from Egizia’s house were just stunning and breathtaking! From the beginning Egizia was very easy to get into contact with about any questions that I had. She gave wonderful recommendations and booked everything for me! We went to a winery that she had suggested and it was great! The Pilates instructor Giulia was also amazing! And with the hills as our scenery it was such a cool and incredible experience! My sister and I had so much fun! This was an unforgettable trip! We’ll definitely have to come back again!

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.

The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. Bellezza maestosa! Non vedo l'ora di visitare di nuovo la Toscana e la città di Asciano! Grazie!

We loved staying here! the views out of the terrace and even the bathroom window were something I’ve never seen before, right out of a movie. About a 15 minute drive to the closest city, San Miniato, which has great restaurants. This was such a charming & peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, and the visits from the neighborhood cats on the terrace was a bonus! :)

This 500 year old house is ideally situated in Tuscany and the Chianti region. It is a perfect place for day trips to other towns, for wine, tasting excursions, and for visiting Florence. The idyllic setting gives you a sense of country life in Italy, and the views from the patio and house are stunning. There are spectacular wineries within 5 to 10 minutes of the house. We found the house very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very very much. Rose and Pier couldn’t have been more helpful in planning our stay and excursions. We found through them fabulous restaurants, and wineries that we would not have discovered on our own. They were also incredibly responsive when we had questions. Our only confusion about the house was that the listing showed three bathrooms, but one was in the laundry room in a separate building . Just something to know. Thank you to Rose for a lovely vacation ! It was the perfect place to explore Tuscany from!

Soggiorno davvero piacevole! L’alloggio è pulito, ben organizzato e in una zona tranquilla. Appena arrivati abbiamo trovato una gradita sorpresa: una bottiglia di Chianti! L’ambiente è accogliente, la cucina super attrezzata e nel salotto c’è una TV con schermo grande, perfetta per rilassarsi la sera. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Vuoi aggiungere qualcosa sull'host o sulla posizione?

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist sehr groß und die Küche war überragend ausgestattet. An sich ein sehr schöner Ort, um zu entspannen

Stella nos recebeu muito bem, foi simpática e prestativa. A casa estava muito limpa e organizada. O espaço e aconchegante. O lugar é extraordinário, muito bonito, com natureza exuberante e uma vista maravilhosa. Stella recomendou lugares para visitar e restaurantes da região que gostamos muito. Somente elogios, nenhuma reclamação.

Un buen departamento para hacer base en Monteione pueblito de Toscana, para estar en auto y poder movilizarse en la region. Monteione es simpatico y tiene un par de restaurantes, El departamento es comodo para hospedarse un par de dias, todo estuvo ok de acuerdo con lo publicado y las fotos. Giancarlo-Andrea respondieron, fueron amables y flexibles por el check in, es auto check in muy simple y comodo. El departamento tenia incluso de cortesia elementos basicos necesarios como agua, cafe, etc y se encontraba bien equipado. Todo fue muy bien. Por parte nuestra solo tuvimos inconveniente que el WIFI no funcionó, aunque según me informaron fue un inconveniente en la zona durante esos dias.

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

we were greeted at our late arrival after few delays. The hosts were very nice. We received many recommendations like best place to buy grocery and wine testing. the small niche with table was awesome to have breakfast. we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay here! The house and the views were truly as picturesque as it seems in the photos. A dream spot! The town itself is full of local flair and is beautiful too. Not touristy at all. Close enough to nearby towns though to explore more of Tuscany! Overall a great stay and Laura was a kind and responsive host.

Da elisabetta siamo stati benissimo, tutti i servizi sono stati impeccabili, a partire dal check in dove elisabetta è stata flessibile riguardo all’orario è estremamente disponibile. la casa è perfettamente attrezzata di tutto il necessario e impeccabile a livello di pulizia. l’ ambientazione poi è da sogno. consiglio assolutamente un soggiorno, non ve ne pentirete!

Miriam’s place is picture perfect - we felt like we were in a movie. The house has everything you could need and is very clean. There is another rental property attached to the house so there are other people close by but there are separate entrances to each place. The pool is a nice addition. The views are spectacular and Miriam was an extremely helpful host. Highly recommend this property if you want the perfect Tuscan experience.

Wir waren heuer zum zweiten mal bei Maria und Massimo und kommen sicher nächstes Jahr wieder. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ruhe ,die wunderschöne Natur und Landschaft herrlich! Massimo ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Danke und auf baldiges Wiedersehen!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gianni’s. We stayed in several Airbnb’s while in Italy, and his was by far our favorite. The home was spotless, and the sunsets were gorgeous every evening. The olive oil from his farm, the wine and fresh flowers were thoughtful touches. Having real air conditioning was great for sleeping. The people in town were friendly and welcoming. We ended up staying in town more than we planned because we enjoyed being around the home and in the area so much. We highly recommended Gianni’s place and would stay there again if we return to Tuscany.

What a place! An absolutely perfect little hideaway in an absolutely gorgeous location. This charming abode has exactly what you need to completely escape and soak in the stunning surroundings of the Tuscan landscape. Even though it rained quite a bit of our visit, sitting on the veranda overlooking the pool and rolling hills nice and dry under the tent was magical - the lush view could never get old! The stone space is as quiet and cozy as can be - comfortable bed and couch, very functional kitchen, nice bathroom. Pretty antiques make the space homey. My husband even jumped in the very cold pool in the rain and now we want to come back in the summer sun to enjoy it more. Tommaso was incredibly sweet and offered recommendations and walked us through the whole place upon check in - and he was kind and responsive the whole time. Really can’t recommend this experience enough!
