Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, very close to Gwanghwamun Square, the center of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Seoul. It consists of Anchae, Sarangchae, and Annex Room. Built in 1939, Dongchonjae It's not a fancy hanok. Seoul City and the government (Korea Tourism Organization) have recognized it as a traditional hanok. Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services. (※ The love house is a space that is different from the main house where guests stay in, and it is a completely separate space) Feel the tranquil beauty and scent of traditional hanok in Dongchonjae. We operate Hamitomi (Heavenly Taste Land Taste). Right food and We are aiming for a happy and relaxed life. We recently remodeled a 20-year-old house and decorated one house as a pension. We're still trying to be the best hosts by remembering the regrets and inconveniences we've experienced as guests. In the summer, lie in a hammock and watch the night sky, In winter, enjoy the wood fire in the fireplace. Looking at 600 jars makes you feel comfortable. We have also small farm growing ingredient fruits. you can pick & enjoy eating for breakfast in summer season. You can take a walk along the riverside path near our house and enjoy water skiing and paragliding. Public transportation is also available. It's a 10 - minute walk from Asin Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. Pick-up from Asin Station is also available.
