Our house is located close to Stykkisholmur, about 20-30 min.drive. It is close to the sea and has a beautiful view over Breidafjordur bay. You can enjoy the midnight sun in the summer and the northern lights in autumn and early spring. The place is quiet and the athmosphere is calm. It is easy to take a day trip to plenty of charming places in Snaefellsnes and Vesturland from our cottage. In Stykkishólmur you can get all services like grocery store, swimming pool and nice restaurants.

The house is 82 m2 with two bedrooms, located at a traditional Icelandic farm. The house is between the towns Stykkishólmur (20 km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km), where you can find all facilities you need. The house has superb view over mountains, sea and lava fields. This is a perfect location to discover Snæfellsnes peninsula. From here you can visit the Shark Museum in Bjarnarhöfn, go swimming in Stykkishólmur, go sailing around Breiðarfjörður or visit the national park.

The chalet is very new and very pleasant to stay in. Equipped with all the comforts to live there for several days, it is also very central for shopping. This is the perfect place to watch the Northern Lights.

Our cozy and private holiday home, Staðarfell, is located in the centre of the beautiful town Stykkishólmur. The house was built in 1903 and has been renovated recent years. This year, 2021, the entrance, bathroom and laundry room were renovated. The house is in a family friendly area and is in walking distance from the grocery store, restaurants, harbour, museums and swimming pool.

A fully restored 2 story house built in 1938, right in the center of Stykkisholmur´s beautiful old Town. The house has a great view over the harbour and Breiðafjörður bay. In the back there is a sheltered deck with seating, a barbecue and a large Hot tub. It is a short walking distance from the port, town pool and all of the great restaurants.

Setberg is a farm and it is 7 km from Grundarfjörður. Grundarfjörður is conveniently located in the middle of Snæfellsnes and provides easy access to Stykkishólmur, Snæfellsbær and the Snæfellsnes National Park. Kirkjufell mountain is the landmark of Grundarfjörður. This charming cottage has a great view across the sea of Kirkjufell mountain.
