House by the sea and The Seal Woman

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

Supermarket and public transportation are within walking distance. 2 km from the airport 1 km from the ferry to Mykines.

Big and spacious house with a wonderful view. Very central in Stykkid, 20 minutes in car from Torshavn or the airport, 10 minutes from Vestmanna and 5 minutes walk to popular Leynasand beach. The house is in two sections with own kitchens, bathrooms, living areas etc. Playground in the garden for children with trampolin and swings, and the adults with hotpot, sauna and grillcabin. Space for 4 cars. Fast wifi. Access through stairs or ramp.

The house was built in 2010 with an old traditional Faroese style. It has 1 bedrooms, a toilet, kitchen and a living room, all with a fantastic view.

Í Fjósinum Glæd dig til at bo i et af Færøernes ældste huse. I dette hus kan du nyde den helt særlige stemning, af hjemlig og hyggelig atmosfære. Her er skæve vinkler, lavt til loftet, og en noget stejl trappe op til loftet, men dog god at gå på, hvor 2 soveværelser og badeværelse er. I stueetagen er der gangen, stuen og køkkenet, som er nænsomt renoveret, for to år siden. Der er udsigt til søen og de høje fjelde fra vinduerne.

Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. The house is fully heated from a local renewable energy source - the sea water.
