Cozy Guesthouse Surrounded by Nature

Convene with nature while sitting on the tranquil deck of this secluded home close to Pasadena and downtown LA. The relaxing feel continues indoors, with high beamed ceilings, warm wooden floors, and colorful rugs. Furnishings are comfy and eclectic. For the convience of our guests, a crib is offered for a nominal fee. We offer a stand alone high speed internet connection dedicated just to the guesthouse. EV charging is available for the guest. The chargers are 240 volts level chargers We have a queen bed w/ a soft down comforter, a queen size sofa bed, a flat screen TV, modern appliances, and beautiful finishing touches from my family - such as fresh flowers! :) The guest house is 100 feet away from the main house. Guests will have plenty of space, their own modern kitchen, washing/drying machine, flat screen TV, a bathroom with a shower and plenty of parking right next to the guest house. My family is very friendly - we will be living across the lot at our house. Please feel free to chat with us - we've lived in LA a long time and are always happy to offer suggestions or advice. The neighborhood consists of houses built during the '50s and '60s, mostly ranch style houses with large lots. The house sits approximately 100 feet off the main street, at the end of the golf course. It is a very quiet neighborhood. Of course, you can park your car on our long driveway! The Gold Line is 2 miles south. It goes into LA downtown Union Station. From there are different subway or metro lines which go to Culver City, Santa Monica, Universal Studios, Long Beach There are hiking trails right outside the door. All guests staying more than a week get maid service every Friday. A baby cot/crib is available for guests who have a need for it at an addional cost of $25 per stay

Hi, I’m Lea. I hope our 180° Mountain View House can provide a pleasurable trip! We have two individual units with separate bathroom. Units are on opposite ends of the house with separate entrances. If you need separate rooms, both are available for rent. Both have same structure. Smoking of marijuana/any drugs is strictly prohibited! There will be a $200 fee charged for any evidence of smoking/drug use on the premise. Late check out is $50 for every 5 minutes past the check out time of 11AM.

I stayed in the area for a music festival. I was going with friends that already lived in the area so I found a place I can stay on my own. - Location was great! The festival I was going to was in Pasadena which is not a far drive from this location. There are a lot of great options for food which is usually my focal point when looking for places to stay. The home itself is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood so it's very easily accessible. - Home! I really enjoyed the space. Wei keeps it nice and tidy which helped me relax especially when coming back from the music festival. The bed in the room I have is FIRM! So I wanted to point that out. If it's not for you, you may be uncomfortable, but I prefer firm beds more~ It helps my back relax. I also really enjoyed the bathroom. They have those showerheads that simulate rainforest. Again, so nice to use after a long day at the music festival. I would love to stay in this home again if the opportunity rose!

I had a wonderful stay! Jerry provided details to make check-in easy; he welcomed me on arrival and was a pleasure to talk with during my stay. The guest room is quiet and private; I slept great! The big window lets in lots of light and gives a beautiful view of the neighborhood and surrounding mountains. The home is in such a peaceful setting, yet in a short drive I could get to everything I wanted to do in greater Los Angeles. I'd love to stay at Jerry's again when I return to LA!

A charming place with kind, considerate, and friendly hosts. For someone who loves the sights and sounds of Nature, I found my stay enchanted. The room is cozy with a comfortable bed and a mini-fridge. It stays cool even without the air conditioning unit on. Lots of shade from magnificent trees. The outdoor bathroom is private and breezy with lots of space. If you love a hammock, I highly recommend laying in there being serenaded by songbirds and feeling the gentle breeze caressing your face :) I would definitely go back again when I’m in the area!

Quiet room beautiful Pasadena home

I only stayed for a night and later joined my friend on her leg of the trip, but I had a pretty good time. Audrey let me leave my luggage early and later after check-out while I went exploring, and was super helpful in lending me a phone charger (my mistake, i brought the wrong with me). Despite the heat, the room and bed were super comfy and the fan was truly a blessing.
