The house, which is about 150 years old, is within walking distance of the Hohe Wand, ideal for climbing, hiking... In a short time you can reach the Schneeberg either by train or car. The house can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 4 children. There is a beautiful garden, Swedish stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a large dining table, 2 toilets, a TV. The municipality of Grünbach charges a tourist tax of €2.80 per person/night to be paid on site.

Hofer vacation home

We, the Hofer family, warmly welcome you to our vacation home on our organic farm in Kirchberg am Wechsel. Our farm is located in the Bucklige Welt at the foot of the Wechsel directly at the so-called Molzkreuzung. This vacation home, which was built by our ancestors around 1880, has been completely renovated by us from 2022 to 2024 in loving handwork inside and out. Thus, nothing stands in the way of your vacation with the highest level of comfort.

We rent out our fantastic and quietly located holiday home on the Semmering in a green oasis of well-being. The Zauberberg ski resort is just a 10-minute walk away. Stuhleck, with around 26 kilometres of slopes, is a 5-minute drive away. The house has a balcony and a south-facing garden with a unique panoramic view. Enjoy the ski slopes in winter and the beautiful nature and hiking trails in summer. PS: Tourist tax of €2.50/day extra.

The Bucklige Welt and the Wechselgebiet offer some excursion destinations in summer and winter! In winter, the nearby ski resorts of Mönichkirchen, St. Corona, Semmering, Stuhleck are suitable for skiing or snowboarding.

This 100 year old wooden house is surrounded on 3 sides by forest and offers a wonderful view of the Rax. The south-facing, sunny view extends from the Rax to the Preiner Gschaid. The house has a heating with two Swedish stoves, which are able to heat the entire house. A modern kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer) and induction cooker completes the basic equipment. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.
