Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Strathcona County

This spot is exactly what we needed. Nice quiet oasis with good amenities, clean and there was even a sweet outdoor kitty that welcomed us. Leanne had great communication and was very welcoming. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Enjoyed the community with its peaceful environment, close to walking trails, schools with playgrounds for our grand daughter and close to Centennial Park Ball Diamonds for our grandson's ball tournament. The location is easy to get in and out of to access Edmonton's major shopping centers and Highway 16. Michael was easy to get ahold of and extremely helpful and patient when dealing with a technical issue with the TV. The massive back yard was enjoyed by our family as it gave room to run and play. The house was clean, with beds comfortable for a good sleep - what you see in the photos is what you get. We would stay again and will recommend to others.

I had a wonderful stay at this Bilga farmhouse Airbnb! From the moment I booked, the host was incredibly responsive and kind. He was always quick to reply and super helpful with any questions I had. The house itself is gorgeous and clean. Each room had its own unique charm and cozy setup, and decorated with care and attention to detail. It felt very homey One of the highlights was the spacious backyard. It’s beautifully maintained and ideal for relaxing in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. A peaceful place with beautiful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout!

Such a great cozy stay! The place was just as described in the listing. It was super comfortable and very clean. Truly is a home away from home. I felt at ease the second I stepped inside. You can really see that the hosts care for their place and for their guests. The welcome gift basket of snacks was a big hit. Thank you so much !

My husband and I stayed at this Airbnb for 2 months to visit family. Overall, a very nice and comfortable set up in a good neighborhood. The unit is bright and cheerful with southern exposure, big windows, a comfy bed and a little walking trail right out the backyard gate. We also really appreciated having a parking space on the driveway where we could plug in the car in Jan/Feb:). Being a basement apartment, you can expect to hear some chairs moving now and again upstairs and some footsteps. The hosts have been lovely, very considerate and quick to respond to any communication. We would highly recommend this unit and plan to come back.

Annie is one of the key that made my trip was more memorable! She is super sweet, careful, compassionate and a great listener. She made me feel like home and ensure the stay is most enjoyable as possible. The room is very cozy, clean and match my vipe.

Amazing stay! An airbnb stay plus experience. I will definitely book this again! The host was communicative from the confirmation of booking until the end. The place was clean and homey. The ranch had trails to walk around and majestic bisons to watch. Robert was super nice to get us close to them 😍. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice weekend getaway!

We had a lovely time at this rental. We really liked how it felt away from the city but was also a very easy drive to all the necessities. The furnishings were high quality and it was very clean and modern. We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn't working but the host did everything they could to fix it. Hopefully they are able to get it fixed for future guests. The host was extremely helpful and responsive in communications. Overall, it was a great rental and we enjoyed our visit. If you are looking for an amazing meal nearby, we highly recommend Joey Sherwood, the service was outstanding and everything we ordered (app, mains and 2 desserts) was delicious!

We were looking for a peaceful place near Edmonton and found this one. It’s a nice and quiet place. The location was easy to find, and Wendy gave clear instructions. Our favorite part was the calm environment, it was a great place to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again. We also loved spending time with Charlie, the yard dog. He walks around the property, and it was nice to have him with us. 😊

Absolutely incredible place! The cabin is so beautiful and well built. There are thoughtful touches all around. The view of the pond while drinking your coffee in the morning is pure bliss. All kinds of birds, ducks and other wildlife. 20 minute drive to Elk Island! We will definitely be back!

The moment we arrived we felt at home. The long driveway through the trees was exciting. Then you arrive at a beautiful log house, surrounded by trees & total privacy. Entering the house brought back so many memories from our childhood. The furniture, tv, Nintendo (love duck hunt) & the VCR with a great selection of movies. We are a family of 6 with dogs. It’s very hard to find a place where you have space & privacy. The yard was great for the dogs to run around. The walking trails go for miles, so much fun exploring. I can go on & on. Thank you Kaila & Cory for sharing your home with us during this hard time. We truly appreciate everything you did for us during our stay. Can’t wait to come back.

5 Plus Stars – A Hidden Gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed—there was a personalized welcome sign and a lovely thank-you card waiting for us. The cabin itself was absolutely immaculate: cozy, warm, and inviting. Every detail was thought of, from the extremely clean space to the incredibly comfortable beds. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook our meals, and we spent our evenings snuggled up on the couch, fully enjoying the peaceful, homey atmosphere. Cheryl went above and beyond—after a big snowfall, she made sure a path to the walking trails was cleared for us and even set up a fire pit, complete with firewood. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more special. This cabin is a true hidden gem. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and just relax, this is it. We’ll definitely be returning. The entire experience was 5+ stars!
