Loved the cabin!! Can’t wait to book again

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

What an absolute gem of an airbnb. We had our privacy the entire stay. Cabin was spacious and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Well stocked kitchen with a comfortable living space. The backyard was spacious enough for our big dog and there are many trails close by. The fire pit with the lawn chairs allowed us to sit back and relax with a nice fire. This was a great getaway. I highly recommend Keitha’s Airbnb!

wonderfully clean and cost cabin. we found the place very peaceful. just what we needed and was able to go out and enjoy the quiet wilderness around Madeira Park and Egmont. Hope to be back.

We had a lovely stay at Liz’s cabin close to the beach. It was wonderful to get away for a weekend with hiking/cycling as well as enjoyed the quietness and calm nature Hornby has to offer. Liz was an excellent host and would love to return someday.

Had a great stay! Everything about the place from cleanliness to the beautiful view was amazing. The bed was comfy and the place is perfect for two people. Tanya was always responsive when we had any questions. We saw sea lions one night too! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy spot with views. Will definitly be back!

Tim was so helpful from the very beginning evening organising kayaks so we could explore the island. He replied to all our queries very quickly and gave us lots of great information. The cabin is very close to the dock and to the grocery store and yet you still feel like you are in a private oasis. Thanks so much, Tim!

We had a wonderful couple of nights at Adam’s cottage. Easy walk into Lund. The place is beautifully designed and so comfortable.

I had an intensive course and needed a peaceful place to stay. This place was ideal: clean, close to everything, and very quiet. Dale was very kind and gave me the space I needed. He was able to respond when I had questions right away. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone.

I booked the tiny cabin as a birthday getaway for my best friend and me, and it exceeded all expectations. The space was incredibly cozy, charming, and thoughtfully designed. Our host, who lives on the property, was exceptionally welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. She went above and beyond by leaving us a delicious homemade loaf of bread and fresh eggs from her chickens—a truly thoughtful touch. The property itself is peaceful and picturesque, surrounded by birds, chickens, and sheep, which added to the tranquil, rural atmosphere. It served as the perfect home base for exploring Courtenay, Comox, and Campbell River. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable retreat.

Came here for a quick night getaway to surprise one of our girls friends with a small impromptu little baby shower. Enjoyed how peaceful the whole area was & how easy it was to get to, the rain on the tin roof of the cabin definitely helped with our good night of sleep away from the kids! Hot tub, sauna and our deck were all to die for, we’re already talking about how we’ll all be going back and how we wished we had booked more nights. Brian was very friendly, greeted us right away and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back.

Cute quiet Airbnb near welcome beach. Had the basics to cook meals for a few days. The barbecue, stove, and fridge worked great! Nice shared space outdoors if the weather is nice, but as expected with a tiny home, the interior was tight for 3 guests. Bring mosquito repellant as it is a woodsy area and most of the social space is outdoors! I wished the front door had a sliding screen to keep bugs out. All the windows had screens which was perfect, especially as the loft areas could get warm at night and after cooking. There were no curtains but the tiny home is in a private area. Nice large parking space and beautiful yard/outdoor patio. It is 20mins away from town centre.

We loved our stay! The place was cozy and extremely quiet - just what we needed. Extra thank you for the well-equipped kitchen! Location couldn’t be better. Trails are very close. We ran and gravel biked from our doorstep every day. Communication was excellent too. 10/10 would recommend.

My stay at the Boathouse was excellent. I enjoyed the private location on the beach with beautiful views of Heriot Bay and watching the tide roll in. The cabin was clean and well stocked - everything I needed to cook a delicious meal and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning (with different brewing options). Definitely recommend for a quiet weekend getaway solo or as a couple. Thank you!

The property is stunning. Private and wild. We had a deer come visit us and my son talked about it for days. We also saw garter snakes, birds, and chipmunks. Paths are definitely tricky to manage so take care. Kids should absolutely be supervised when outside, even on the deck. But despite that the place was quite child friendly. Be aware there are no books or toys so families should come prepared.

This was our second stay at Wayne‘s place. I love this Airbnb will continue to return. It’s spotless with so many lovely thoughtful touches. The space is bright, clean, and well cared for. The host are extremely kind and I feel very comfortable staying at their Airbnb.

Melanie's bed was the comfiest bed I've ever stayed on all of the airbnbs we've stayed :) The tiny home had everything we need even a full kitchen! Even has some netflix, a nice couch, and a cute little shower room. We ended upstaying for a night before we hiked the Tiny Hut Cabin. This place is close to the ferry and about 20mins to Wallmart too. Melanie was very quick to responding too. Thank you Melanie. We still want to know where you got your bed! hehe

This cabin exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for all the comforts in a tranquil location this home is perfect. It’s a beautiful combination of sea and rainforest. The home is equipped with high quality amenities. We saw whales swimming in the channel and birds are singing all day. The cabin is designed with windows to maximize your view. The sauna, outdoor shower and fire table was a relaxing way to finish the day and look out at the water. We like to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this destination for some solitude and privacy. It’s evident the hosts put a lot of effort and thought to create special touches such as fresh greenery and herbs on display. We can’t wait to come back at the next opportunity.

This place was hard to leave. The cozy vibe, little details, good books, plants, and amenities/accessories made us feel immediately at home. Me and my boyfriend had the best relaxing day, and taking a shower outside with the rain shower was awesome. The outhouse was really clean, didn't smell bad, and was easy to use. It was nice to be able to relax on the comfy seats outside. Verena was super friendly and she really made us feel safe and cared for. Also the bed is really comfy. The area is super walkable, we walked to an area that you can enjoy a pretty waterfront area. I want to come back here as soon as I can, seriously.

We loved the cozy cabin beautiful view and privat. It was very clean and had everything you need. We also loved the ducks that came by the cottage every evening. Thank you Hannah for being and amazing host.

This is a beautiful, peaceful property. The tiny home had everything we needed for a cozy stay and space to work if needed. There were lots of trails around the property to go for walks with our dog and the fenced yard was a bonus! Lots of wildlife around and amazing stars at night. We will definitely be back!

What a gem of a location and so well cared for! Incredible views! Comfortable bedding and everything you need on hand. We loved the nesting eagles, the sunset view from the sauna and the well equipped kitchen. The driveway down was a longer/steeper walk than we imagined from the car parking location at the top of the land. Kenneth was very accommodating and allowed me to pick up and drop off my mom at the bottom due to the exertion of the hill. It is so nice however, that car access is limited as it makes the peace just that much more peaceful. Thank you Kenneth and Svetlana for sharing this truly special place! 💚
