The owner-host is a retired 20 season music composer, consultant, and educator for the Festival.

Adjacent to this is our guest dining room with television and fireplace. It is also good for playing cards or just socializing with friends. Our home has four bedrooms each with ensuite baths. The upstairs rooms can be made with two twin beds or one king. The ground floor suite has access to the upstairs shared spaces.

A Little Country in the City

This is a lovely, basic room for one person. It is in the basement with a north-western window and egress. The house is quiet and owned by a professional couple, one of whom is frequently at home and often available (works from home). A hearty or light breakfast is available, if ordered in advance and with availability. In the summer, it can be el fresco. The house is in a very mature, wooded neighbourhood that is safe and conveniently close to all amenities.

It is exquisitely decorated in French Provincial furniture, period prints, Victorian pieces, and there is an antique down-filled chaise lounge in the room, that our guests love curling up and watching movies from, or reading. The duvet is studded in Swarovski crystals, and there is a desk in this room. This room can accommodate a cot Cost for 3rd person $60.00 per night

Lakeshore North - Waterloo

Lakeshore North is a beautiful area of Waterloo. It is walking distance to Laurel Creek Conservation Area and a short drive to St. Jacobs Farmers Market. Self-serve breakfast includes cereal, toast, bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, jam, yogourt, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice and milk. The basement bedroom is large (18 feet X 12 feet) and normally very cool, but fans are available if necessary.

Hathaway's Cottage

Hathaway's Cottage is a charming, yellow brick, 1894 Ontario Cottage, within a 10 minute walk to Avon and Studio Theatre, restaurants, shops and Avon River. The Tom Patterson and the Festival Theatre are only a 15 minute stroll away. Opened as a Bed and Breakfast in 2001, our home has been lovingly restored, keeping its cozy charm, furnished with antiques and textiles. Our home is smoke-free with ample parking.
