Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

Really nice cabin, which is a little far away from a lot of things. It has a good view and it felt more like a summerhouse than an airbnb. Would definitely recommend the place.

I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

Another wonderful weekend at this cabin. This is one of our favorite spots to stay for a weekend away. It is cozy and comfortable, with an amazing view, a hot tub, and a gorgeous waterfall. We hope to return soon.

What an extraordinary and perfect stay! Espen and his accommodation were truly 100% convincing from start to finish. He is a more than accommodating and kind person who looked after our well-being to our complete satisfaction. I would definitely choose his accommodation again if I'm back in the area. This is the best Air B&B we have stayed in by a huge margin. Situated in a spectacular cove with an amazing view down the fjord, the boat house is impeccably clean, has all the latest modern kit, is stylishly designed and beautifully presented. Frode is an excellent host, showing us around on arrival and providing great communication before and after - as well as during - our stay. The hot tub was a huge bonus, and though we did not use the boat due to four young kids, it is an amazing option for those who fancy it! The surrounding area has so much to do - we hiked the surrounding mountains, visited Stavanger, and walked up waterfalls. A good selection of supermarkets and restaurants are within 15mins - we can recommend Meat and Eat in Jorpeland for a meal and Rema 1000 to buy food. Would highly recommend and can't wait to book again. Thank you Frode!

As quiet as you need and as close to Stavanger and the Lysefjord as you want.

The house is beautifully situated right in the mountains overlooking the fjord. There is a road in between, but there are few cars and at night it is very quiet. Everything was super clean and lovingly furnished. We felt very comfortable. I am happy to recommend the place!

Definitely one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed in so far. The apartment is cozy, clean, quite and very well equiped (you will find everything in the kitchen). The beautiful fjord view is a highlight, we loved watching the sunset from the couch. (Must be great to go swimming right from the garden during summer time.) Its a good location to explore the area with lots of hiking trails around, the Lysefjord ferry close by and just a 20 minutes drive to Preikestoren base camp. Torhild gave us a warm welcome, provided us with a lot of tipps and even had a little birthday surprise for my husband. We can highly recommend this place! Its a real gem and we would love to come back some day.
