Cabin holiday rentals in Strand

We had a great stay at Daniel's house! The location is great, just a couple of steps to the beach. The house itself was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Communication with Daniel was also very easy. Highly recommended!

Our first trip to Norway has enchanted us and certainly also this beautiful cabin. The space is just a dream come true. We stayed with Erik for a week with five people and felt right at home. You can enjoy the view of the fjord, nature and tranquility. There are great excursion and hiking opportunities in the area. Erik was always quick to reach and a really friendly contact. We'd love to come back:-)

Venke and Simen were just fantastic hosts! Very friendly and responsive, and their place is a gem! The interior of the cabin is cosy and completely matched our taste. At the beginning of our stay we had a problem and they solved it quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much Venke and Simen for the wonderful stay! We hope to be back for more great surf sessions :)

We only stayed one night at the property. This little cabin is optimized to the maximum and you feel really good there. In good weather, the jacuzzi is a plus. Don't hesitate if you pass by and don't be afraid of adventure!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The view of the fjord is fantastic. The place is super equipped and has everything you need. Susanne was very nice and gave us some tips for activities in the area.

Very nice and clean house, definitely recommend

Very nice cottage with beautiful views! The owner is very friendly and was present when we arrived. Driving to the cottage was a bit exciting at first, but the host gives good instructions and helps you if necessary. After that, we also did well. Parking below the cottage is also possible. We had great days. It is a nice environment for beautiful walks and in an hour you are in Stavanger, a nice city to visit. The jacuzzi is fantastic too! You lack nothing in this cottage, even towels and bedding were present.

Beautiful gorgeous area and that’s why we booked it! No bed sheets or pillow cases (maybe it’s a Norwegian thing to pay extra for that) and only one bathroom so was ok for 4, not sure how more could fit comfortably. Host was Great and the location and views is to die for!!!’

We had a great stay at Bjarne’s place. The barn is equipped with functionalities. Do not expect excessive luxury, but everything works perfectly and the place has a cozy nautical theme that fits the location perfectly. We loved it! We could use the great outdoor space as well and immediately felt welcome by the family. Bjarne gave us great recommendations about the area; the fresh shrimps on thursday/fridays, great hikes and beautiful scenic route that really made the difference during our stay. It was our first time in Norway and we could never have found these ourselves. Next to this we enjoyed the drinks together at the end of the day and the conversations that we had. Elisabet has a really lovely cabin. Great views and nature right in front of the cabin and out the big windows. She was quick to respond to questions and we had a great ongoing contact during the stay. Great recommendation for cabin and Elisabet as a host.

We had a lovely short week at Vegard's house. Even though we did not meet him, we had very pleasant contact. He is very responsive and friendly and helpful with questions! The house is in a nice quiet place with spacious garden and beautiful location on the water. You even have access to your own private beach and can use a boat and canoes. We had a lot of fun with that! Our dog was also able to have a good time here. You will be staying in a characteristic old house with lots of charm. Also a lot of space and comfort. And as a surprise, we had deer in the garden every now and then. Nearby is the Preikestolen, beautiful walk! And for visiting Stavanger, you are also ideal here. We liked Jørpeland too! In short, plenty to do in the area and around the house. Highly recommend if asking us!

Lovely private beach house with professional kitchen, lots of crockery/glassware, and equipment. Difficult for less mobile people, very narrow and steep spiral staircase to bathroom (with single toilet) and bedroom. Super view through sliding glass wall towards fjord, with 2 relaxing armchairs.. We would go back immediately, on a next trip in this area!!

Really nice stay in a cabin to get away from Stavanger for a weekend. The cabin was clean and tidy, with plenty space for our family of 4 plus our dog. Easy 5 minute walk from the car parking area (albeit, a bit tricky with the wheelbarrow when your son wants to go in it). Well equipped, well maintained and well situated in amongst the trees for a relaxing weekend spending time together. Easy driving distance from Stavanger, just remember to bring your shopping… Jørpeland isn’t too far, but far enough away that you might not want to make the journey too often. Would recommend and may return ourselves!

Beautiful outdoor area, garden, lawn, several seating areas and sea view. Nice, pleasant cottage (normal standard) and private annex with 3 beds. Great location, especially if you are tempted to hike to Prekestolen! 25 min to Stavanger city centre and 20 min to where the trail starts. Close to a road but undisturbed due to planting. Close to shops and fast charging. Great value for money if you are a large group. Very welcoming host, good information and quick to respond.

Great cabin—clean, functional, and perfectly located. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We used it as a base to hike Pulpit Rock and absolutely loved the experience and the view. Highly recommend for anyone exploring the area!

Accommodation in Mr. Torleiv's cottage met our expectations. The location of the accommodation is excellent, close to many tourist attractions sought after by visitors. The accommodation, including the kitchen, is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Mr. Torleiv is very friendly, he was willing and tried to communicate with us, even though there was a language barrier on our part. He explained to us the possibilities of hiking in the nearby area according to the map and gave us some good advice. Thank you for a nice stay.

Nine people who stayed overnight in connection with a sporting event. Nice place, and the cabin suited our group very well. Everything worked really well.

Very nice stay at Anett's cabin. Beautifull surroundings, great views from deck. Everything looked as in pictures, very clean, nice place, and there is everything you need during your stay. We will be back again some time in future🫶

The Cabin was amazing! truly a hidden gem! Super quiet with amazing views from every window! Its the perfect place to calm down and to rest after a beautiful day of hiking. but you need to have a car to get to the place. warmly recommended to stay at Peters place, who answered quickly and friendly!

My buddy and I came out here to do some hiking and fishing. We stayed at Reidunn Lea's place and we had an awesome time - the cabin was comfortable, the location was pristine, and the hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and equipped us with the right items to make sure we were out on the lake! I definitely recommend their cabin to anyone wanting to be in the Norwegian outdoors.

The place was just amazing! The view is an absolute dream - waking up to it every morning was a real highlight. The apartment is perfectly equipped, nothing is really missing. Everything is lovingly and modernly furnished, super clean and thoughtful – you feel comfortable from the first moment.

Very nice, clean and well equipped hyta near Stavanger. Wonderful view and place to relax. Nice that there were fresh sheets and towels. We recommend.
