Daars North Cottage is located in the peaceful countryside 3 miles from Straffan, Clane and Sallins Village. The cottage is compact and clean with two double rooms and a single room. The Cottage is very secure set behind our main house. As the cottage is based at our home we would be delighted to help out with local knowledge and places of interest. Easily accessible from Dublin (30 mins) by train and bus service (50 mins). We have 3 friendly dogs here so unfortunately NO Dogs allowed

Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed upper deck plus a single bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. Within 20mins you will be in Glendalough with incredible walks like The Spinc. Russborough House and Parklands is 15 mins drive away. Delicious food can be found all with in 15 mins, The Hollywood Inn, The Ballymore Inn and The Poulaphouca House and Falls. Hollywood has a gorgeous cafe and flower shop offering beautiful gifts.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.
