Holiday rentals with an EV charger in Stord Municipality

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

Wir haben tolle 2 Wochen im wunderschönen Norwegen bei Bente verbracht. Eine super nette Vermieterin, die uns gute Tipps gegeben hat und uns mit leckeren Pancakes verwöhnt hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl im schönen Ferienhaus gefühlt und einfach die Ruhe, Natur, das Angeln vom Boot oder auch vom Ufer genossen. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen Urlaub bei Bente in Norwegen zu machen. Alles Gute liebe Bente.

Nancy was the best host for our stay in Auklandshamn which is the most peaceful neighborhood. We felt right at home and Nancy sent us plenty of advice which turned out super useful. Everything felt just perfect! The apartment is small, but was just right for us, couldn’t ask for more! If you are looking for a nice cozy house in a peaceful place, Nancy’s the perfect place for you

Kari er den perfekte vært, alt er som beskrevet i opslaget, rorbuen super ren og hun er meget hurtig til at svare hvis man har spørgsmål. Har kun positive ting at sige om både Kari og hendes rorbu 👍😊

Knut and Helene definitely put a lot of effort in to making their place clean, cozy, and well-furnished. If you can, make sure you don't miss out on the boat ride!

Ein schönes kleines Häuschen mit guter Ausstattung. In der Gegend gibt es viel zu entdecken und auch der Campingplatz ist super schön und bietet viele Aktivitäten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es handelt sich um ein tolles, liebevoll restauriertes Bootshaus in einer eigenen kleinen Bucht mit eigenem Steg und privaten Pier. Das Haus hat viel Charme und ist hochwertig ausgestattet. Zur Verfügung steht auch ein gutes Motorboot, mit dem man die schöne Umgebung auch auf dem Wasser erkunden kann. Wir haben abends selbst gefangene Fische, Krabben und Muscheln auf der schönen Terrasse gegessen. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, vielen Dank!

Vi har hatt et fantastisk opphold. Stedet var fredelig og privat. Osvald var veldig hyggelig og sørget for at vi hadde alt vi trengte. Det er et koselig sted. Anbefales! :)

We are honored to have the opportunity to stay in a 2 century old house with heavy renovation done leaving a room preserved for us to have the nostalgic feel. The kitchen is modern and squeaky clean. It’s a homely house to be in. Peaceful surroundings with a lake within walking distance. We will want to stay in this lovely house again if we come this way.
