Kari is the perfect host, everything is as described in the listing, the rorbu super clean and she is very quick to respond if you have any questions. Have only positive things to say about both Kari and her rorbu 👍😊

Nancy was the best host for our stay in Auklandshamn which is the most peaceful neighborhood. We felt right at home and Nancy sent us plenty of advice which turned out super useful. Everything felt just perfect! The apartment is small, but was just right for us, couldn’t ask for more! If you are looking for a nice cozy house in a peaceful place, Nancy’s the perfect place for you

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

We spent a great 2 weeks in beautiful Norway with Bente. A super nice landlady who gave us good tips and spoiled us with delicious pancakes. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful cottage and just enjoyed the peace, nature, fishing from the boat or even from the shore. We can only recommend vacationing at Bente in Norway. We enjoyed the house very much. It is a great, lovingly restored boathouse in its own small bay with its own dock and private pier. The house has lots of charm and is well equipped. There is also a good motorboat at your disposal, with which you can also explore the beautiful surroundings on the water. We ate our own caught fish, crabs and mussels on the beautiful terrace in the evening. Overall a very nice stay, thank you!

It is hard to find words that can do justice to the beauty, majesty and sheer scale of the landscape in this part of Norway. The cabin is fantastic, beautifully appointed and has the most amazing outlook on the fjord. Solveig is a really great host and very thoughtful about your particular needs-we were extremely grateful for some of the support we received to help with our arrival and departure. The pictures of the cabin will not do it justice, it had everything that we needed and was such a tranquil retreat for us. Do plan ahead to ensure that you understand the layout of the local area, timings and use of the amazing ferry services and be aware that the geography provides for some jaw dropping views but driving can be challenging for those unfamiliar with these types of roads. Some good grocery stores available in the wider area, which we were very Impressed with in terms of price, range and quality of items. Norwegians speak better English than English people do and are so friendly

We've had a wonderful stay. The place was peaceful and private. Osvald was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. It's a cosy place. Recommended! :)

Recommended. Great apartment, tidy and clean! Good communication with the landlord. Have rented from Eivind and Signe-Britt in the past ... always happy. We gladly came back😊
