Polite and friendly host. The accommodation was well appointed and had a lot of charm. Ample space for our family and a beautiful location. Recommended.

We had an amazing stay!The place was spotless, with every corner well-maintained. It was clean and felt fresh and welcoming. The kitchen had all the essentials — cookware, oven, coffee maker — and the bathroom was spacious and in great condition. The temperature was easy to control, ensuring comfort throughout our stay. A highlight of the house was the stunning artwork in every room, which made the place feel unique and special. The location was peaceful, next to a beautiful horse farm, and just a 10-minute drive from Egilsstaðir. We were lucky to see the Aurora Borealis right from the house’s big windows — a magical experience! Our host was very helpful, even informing us about the Aurora Borealis and quickly responding to any questions. Her recommendations made our stay even better. The house was perfect for our group of 5, with comfy beds, plenty of space, fast Wi-Fi, and a cozy atmosphere created by the decor and artwork. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Cosy accomodation. More spacious than it seemed on the fotos. Owner ist very helpful and friendly. It was a pity that we could just stay for one night.

The cottage was lovely and in a secluded location surrounded by bird-song and trees, just a short drive from Egilsstadir. The deck outside is expansive and would be great in warmer weather; as it is, the hot tub was terrific after a day of exploring, and for viewing the northern lights! The bedrooms are European-tiny without a lot of room for "stuff", but with only two of us, we were able to spread out a bit and it all worked out just fine. We very enjoyed our stay in this lovely family getaway.

Accommodation according to the photos, that said we were looking for calm and solitude, and we were surprised when we arrived to see another cabin a few meters away with our 2 living rooms facing us forcing us to close the adjoining curtain for privacy. It's still very quiet, and cute, perfect for resting and observing aurora if the weather permits. The little visit of our hosts' dog was also pleasant, no language barrier for this little doggie.

The accommodation is small but nice. Very clean, everything you need to cook simple dishes and to the back you have a fantastic view. Two little things still bothered us a little. The cottages are very clairaudient and you can clearly hear the conversations of the direct neighbors. And the front of the place is almost a glass front, which points to the gravel parking lot and you sit on the presentation plate at dinner if you don't close the blinds. For a night or two it is perfect and we would come back.
