We had an amazing time!! Place was amazing, views spectacular as promised, and we loved the stove/fireplace. The 4WD note is real — our rental car company failed us, gave us a 2WD, and we couldn’t get up the driveway. We parked at the bottom of the hill … it was a 5-10min walk and not an issue for anyone in our group. So, make sure you have 4WD, or if you don’t mind a walk, that might work too!

Sally was extremely responsive when it came to communication, and her binder gives you everything you could possibly need to know about not only the house but the whole area in general. She is an amazing host

We had a group of seven at Jackie’s place for a long weekend of snowmobiling and it was a fantastic stay! The kitchen is fully stocked with nearly everything you would need to make your meals during the stay, even a crockpot and lobster cracking tools! No ice maker, but there is an ice cube tray, we just bought a bag from the store, no biggie just something to note. Plenty of towels of all sizes and tons of extra pillows and blankets throughout the house too. We loved our stay and will hope to stay again in the future, we make visits to Pittsburg a few times a year and when we have a bigger group Jackie’s place will be the first place we book if we can!

We were very pleased to find this space so refreshingly warm and inviting. It suited our needs exactly. I spent hours on the porch just sitting and relaxing.

Our stay was timed perfectly for a quick overnight for spring skiing at Cannon the next day. Being ~15 min away is so much better than driving over 4hrs total in 1 day for skiing! There was plenty of room for our family of 4 (3 for this trip) and our stuff, place was easy to find, well-lit and almost too warm with the heaters doing a good job. Instructions and communications were super clear, with Henry being proactive and checking in. Definitely recommend for a weekend in the mountains - we will be back once the snow allows!

Very cute old farmhouse with just the right amount of upgrades to make it comfortable without losing charm. Good location close to East Burke. It snowed for our Thanksgiving stay making the place super cozy (but we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace). Bathrooms are huge!

It was a great stay. The space had everything my fiancé and I needed for during a ski trip. The campground is so beautiful and has so many amenities. Thank you for hosting us!

Our family of 7 stayed at Overlook for a weekend getaway….we enjoyed the house with all of the great amenities. The pool table was a hit with everyone! Jessica was very attentive when we had questions. All the comforts of home! Previous groups were not so respectful of the home and property…such a shame! Jonathan and Lisa were wonderful hosts! We stayed 3 nights to enjoy some Spring skiing at Saddleback. The home was close to town and a quick drive to Saddleback mountain. The house is perched high on a hill overlooking Rangeley lake. The downside is that the driveway is steep and icy (this time of year due to the recent March thaws) but the view and sunsets are breathtaking!! For an additional fee, you can enjoy their newly built sauna and whirlpool. So relaxing after a day of skiing that we booked it twice. The house has all the comforts of home. Being culinary masters, we had a bit of a struggle in the small kitchen. But certainly most everything you need to prepare great meals. Communication with the hosts was excellent and timely.

Great location, close to skiing, park, and spas. Cozy and warm accommodations with beautiful surroundings. The hot tub is great. Elaine is very helpful!

Enjoying your morning coffee, starring off at the Mountain View, should be a everyday thing. It’s just a great way to start the day. Despite a minuscule miscommunication between the cleaner and host prior to our arrival. A one off. The place was lovely and we would recommend. Great for an intimate / close group of friends / family of 6 like many reviews said. But if you really want to make it work, 8 people can fit. Manageable with one bathroom. In emergencies the indoor pool has changing rooms with extra restrooms. Some who finds stairs difficult, should be aware it is on a third floor walk up. So plan to pack light. There are lockers on the first floor for skis/snowboards storage. The slopes are walking distances right across from the parking lot. Easy to hop on and off trail (Bunny slope steepness) down to the lifts, very good for beginners. Kitchen fully stocked. Balcony was a plus to dry gear. Dog friendly. Really it has everything we needed. Great location.

Our stay was great. Just as pictured. The staff on the property were super friendly and kind. Very close to Sunday River for a ski weekend. The fire pits were a plus. We would stay again. 10/10

very nice experience at the cottage - kids liked it and we had lots of games and puzzles to do on a rainy day. interior stair will be remebered :) saw lots of deer and two wild turkeys every day on the gravel road to keep in mind when driving. ski is few minutes alway with a car. most of the close by restaurants (30min away) open after thursdays, so we were goint at the owls head hotel restaurant- not bad but need reservation on a busy days. overall excelent 5 day ski vacation. kuddos to the owner.

This house was perfect! Location was great, so close to Snowmobile trails, nice big driveway to park the trailer. Highly recommend! The house was stocked with everything you need, right down to K-cups! We went with 7 adults and 4 kids including an infant. Can't wait to go back!

Stay in a turnkey chalet, warm, very clean and welcoming. Everything was there to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Ideal place to relax and share sweet moments with the family. I recommend to all. Hosts respond quickly and make sure everything goes smoothly for us during our stay at their place. They give us access to lists of good restaurants, nearby activities to do, local grocery stores and more in advance which makes it easier for us to organize our vacation in their area, a big plus.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. We liked the proximity to snowmobile trails, the pellet stove, and the TV options. Thanks and we will be back.

Listing as described and photos. We see that this house is being improved and that the owners are looking to preserve its authenticity while adapting it to the tastes of the day. We were looking for a place with 5 bedrooms and we don't regret choosing this one.

Had a lovely one night stay to get away and decompress for a bit. The cabin was cozy and secluded in a beautiful location. There was plenty of firewood available to keep us comfortable on a chilly evening. Hosts provided very clear, thorough, and helpful details about the rental well in advance of our stay. We enjoyed unplugging and relaxing for the night and would definitely book again!

Exactly what we needed! We were in town visiting family for Thanksgiving, and Jeff's place was perfect. Cozy, clean and private, and close to everything we needed. Jeff was a fantastic host, super proactive and responsive. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Enjoyed my stayed, cabin looked exactly like the photos. Beautiful scenery as well. He was very responsive as well, would 10/10 recommend
