From the moment we arrived we were captivated by the stunning views surrounding the accommodation. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind. The fireplace added to the ambiance. We spent hours snuggled up with blankets, enjoying the crackling fire. Our host Cindy went above and beyond ro ensure our stay was perfect. From thoughtful touches in the cabin to quick responses to our questions. I highly recommend The Buchu Box to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature.

A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

This is absolutely the perfect place to stay in Franschhoek! I enjoyed the beautiful mountain views while still being close to town. There are lovely places to eat nearby, and the hosts were easy to communicate with. The place was very clean and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideal location. Beautiful home. The bedrooms don’t have air conditioning or fans and it was very hot at night, but other than that we highly recommend Anita’s beautiful home.

I had an absolutely wonderful time during my stay! The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding wineries and mountain while being conveniently close to town. It was the ideal setting for exploring the local attractions and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The house itself was immaculate and incredibly well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of care and attention to detail. It was not only clean but also inviting, making it feel like a true home away from home. Communication with Ann was exceptional. She was quick to respond and went out of her way to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our visit. Her warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience, making it all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable getaway, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and soak in the beauty of the area!

Our stay in Stellenbosch at Nelius’ place could not have been better. Our plans were somewhat up in the air getting from our preplanned tours to the property with our rental car, but Nelius was happy to be flexible with us getting to the property, showing us around, giving recommendations, and more. The property itself could not be located in a more central location. Everything is walkable and there are buzzy bars, restaurants, and shops on each corner visible from the balcony. However, the flat keeps the sound isolated to the outdoors if a quiet stay is preferable. Lastly, the flat was incredibly well kept and better than the pictures made it out to be. Next time I am in Stellenbosch, I will try my best to stay here again!

Breathtaking views and beautiful place in a lovely, safe street. The place shows amazing views over the ocean and harbour. The deck is nice and spacious and the place itself too. Lovely bath in the middle of the room. Stan was super helpful with lots of recommendations of restaurants and things to do. Would love to come again.

We loved our stay here! The ocean views were amazing and a perfect spot outside of Cape Town but not too far. Easy to drive to neighboring towns.

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

Wieneke's place is a fantastic space. The views are hard to beat, absolutely stunning and lovely to hear the ocean. Loved having my morning coffee in the sun on the balcony. Wieneke is a great host, super responsive and helpful. Will definitely book her place again! 100% recommend 👍🏻

Fantastic apartment right in the very heart of Franschhoek - perfectly located for events happening in town. The apartment has everything one would need for a great stay. Mark is a very welcoming and accomodating host. One thing to note - It is directly above two restaurants which can make things a bit noisy - if you want total peace and quiet this might not work for you as the vibes continues into the night but if you enjoy such vibes this is an amazing spot. We will definitely be back!
