Great place! We booked this for our family of 4, my adult daughter and her boyfriend. It was perfect! Spacious, clean and comfortable. We prepared breakfast and lunch in the kitchen and got take-out from nearby restaurants for dinner. Very easy drive to Emerald Hollow Mine, which was our purpose for being in the area.

It’s definitely a place you’d want to stay if you were in town. We actually were going to conferences in hickory for the weekend and so it was about 30 mins away but the drive wasn’t bad at all. We went and ate at some of the recommended food places that she recommended and they were all amazing. If we would have had time we would have went to the recommended attractions and hiking spots because I’m all a bout going on hikes but we just didn’t have the time. Maybe next time we are in town, because I would definitely book again with them. The house was clean, and nice, and pretty much just as pictured. If you are wanting to stay somewhere quiet and in a nice neighborhood then this is the place for you. Thanks again Deb!

What a beautiful old home! Being just shy of 90 years old, the home shows some aging, but none of that hinders the beauty or functionality of the home—in fact it just adds to the charm. In the morning, you can literally walk outside and smell the roses. Jean was very responsive and allowed me to check in early, which was a big help with my travel plans! Highly recommend this charming home!
