Loved staying at nerf-af cottage, Serina is a wonderful hostess. The cottage is very well designed with a spacious open plan living area and two lovely bedrooms. It is beautifully and tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. Highly recommended.

We had a truly warming and memorable stay at this wonderful place. It’s an ideal spot for families, especially those with children. The area is peaceful and safe, with plenty of open space for kids to play and explore. Inside, the house is both cozy and well-equipped. The bedding was especially nice—fresh, clean, and super comfortable, which made for restful nights after busy days. One of our favorite features was the fireplace, which made the winter evenings feel extra special and added to the overall cozy atmosphere. The kitchen deserves a special mention—spacious, modern, and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for the whole family. It made preparing meals together a real pleasure. This place strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a fun-filled family retreat, it’s an excellent choice. Wow. This seaside cottage is simply amazing. Its charming, homely and authentic, nothing grand, nothing fake, nothing ostentatious, but tastefully decorated (the attention to detail is perfection) and with everything one needs, ample plug points, extra comfy blankets and a fully stocked kitchen. The fireplace creates the perfect ambiance for winter days and cosy nights. The ocean view is magical. Sitting and reading while listening to the ocean on an extraordinary long builtin couch was pure bliss. We were lucky to have two beautiful sunny days despite it being May and used the fireplace area at the back for a family braai which was more affirmation this house is perfect for every season. To us with all its character and charm this is the quintessential South African beach cottage..

Sue is a fantastic and very sweet host! She was always quick to respond. The house had a lovely holiday feel to it.

The house was neat and tidy and the bedding was super soft. We had a very good stay and appreciated the housekeeper coming in mid stay to do a linnen swap for us. Would recommend.

This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. The house is perfectly located with the most amazing views of Gordon’s bay and Strand. The farm is beautiful and private. The house has everything you need in a home away from home. I would love to come back and stay a few more months at this peaceful beautiful sanctuary. Penny is a perfect host and always responsive and considered. Would gladly return for future stays.

Kyle’s place was super central and close to everything. The apartment is really big and spacious, usually one bedrooms can feel a bit crammed but Kyle’s place is open and breezy but still extremely cozy with everything you need. Kyle also accommodated us with an early check-in which was awesome. Kyle is Super responsive and helpful with perfect instructions. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Kyle!

Wow, what an incredible stay! Theresa's place is absolutely stunning, and she couldn't be a more wonderful and friendlier host. The attention to detail is impressive, and the thoughtful touches, like the birthday "surprise" for my wife, truly made our weekend unforgettable. The amenities are top-notch: a cozy lounge with both air conditioning and a fireplace (with wood provided!), a massive fully equipped kitchen, and a luxurious bedroom with an amazing walk-in shower. We've had some great Airbnb experiences, but this one truly stands out. Theresa's place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to friends and family. Five stars isn't enough – we'd give it ten stars if we could! Thanks, Theresa, for an awesome weekend!

We had a wonderful time at La Mer flatlet. Beautiful views and good accommodation. It was cold and raining, but the inside fireplace was the place to be to watch the waves crashing over the rocks in front of the house. Will visit again. Good value for money.

Of all our stays in The Western Cape, this was in our Top 2 (in over 109 stays). 7 mins to central Stellenbosch , near the beaches and only 25 mins to Cape Town. Right in the heart of the Winelands. The villa was immaculate with very clear and accommodating hosts. For a family of 4, we all had our own bedrooms with en suites and one of the largest pools in a private residence. Washer, dryer (which is rare), air conditioning and lots of open communal space. We loved in so much that we made an offer to the owners to purchase 😎. Do not hesitate to book this gorgeous villa in a secure neighbourhood. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

We stayed at the tree stone villa for the long weekend in Hermanus with a couple of friends and it was such a lovely experience. The self check in was super easy and Leandri the host was so kind to let us only check out at 4pm. The house is beautiful, very well maintained and kitted out with plenty of utensils, cutlery, firewood and even spices for cooking! The apple and lemon trees in the front yard were also such a bonus! The lounge and braai area was spacious and comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities such as the ice machine, blender, air fryer and dishwasher. It was really the perfect getaway to stay in and cook up a feast and we will definitely save this as one of our favourites and visit again!

10/10! By far the best service and experience we have ever had. Best stay ever! This was a great experience. The staff was very polite and well-organised…..exceptional aspects like stunning views, impeccable design, and attentive service, peaceful environment everything stood out for me .

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and had an amazing time.The house was spotless and exactly as described. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful view.,we had games and the house is so big ,clean and kitchen has everything.The host was super helpful and made check-in easy..The only small issue we had was the inverter kept on tripping but they fixed it for us we enjoyed our stay . Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away for group of friends or family, I will not mind coming back again .

The house at De Kelders is exquisite. The open view is 180 deg of sea view right above the rocks and the beautiful sea. Saw many seals. The house is beautifully appointed with stunning finishes. The house offers all the necessary amenities It’s peaceful and open plan. Both Hermanus and Stanford is close for restaurants and there are many accessible beaches. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday

We had a lovely time staying in the house. It felt like a home away from home. Everything was super neat, tidy and clean. Very clear instructions. The host and the housekeeper are super friendly and constantly checked in. The house has everything you need and more. The view from the patio and living room is spectacular. What a great stay at Nuwe Lingen, the whole family was so pleased and impressed with our stay and if we had more time we would have stayed longer!
