Cabin holiday rentals in Stamsund

This was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve stayed in some beautiful spots. We were there for the midnight sun but I imagine northern lights would be spectacular. The setting is absolutely stunning and the space is spotless with a clean and modern design. My only wish is that we had stayed longer. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more responsive when we had questions. Located close enough to restaurants and shops (15-20 minutes) in case you need something, but far enough away to feel like you are truly in nature. Everything was easy and perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing cabin with gorgeous views. If there’s an Airbnb you have to splurge on, it’s this. This unit is situated amongst a cluster of cabins in a remote area facing the sea and fjords (nearest grocery store ~20mins drive away). The cabins are well spaced out so each unit feels private. This unit is right by the sea, but there is a massive rock formation in front of the cabin, blocking ~1/2 the panoramic window (we loved the rock as you could climb up for great views and a picnic; but if you’re looking for uninterrupted panaromic views, choose another unit) The cabin is luxuriously furnished and extremely cozy. Some issues we faced: one of the main doors was broken and we couldn’t lock it for the first night. This was rectified the next day. We also faced a blackout. While the team was accommodating and provided us with a solution, communication was slow at times, especially after our stay when we were discussing compensation. Fortunately, we did find an acceptable resolution.

Great place, spotless clean and everything is brand new ! Some disadvantages are that place is really small(bedrooms has no cabinets as there is no space for them) and kitchen is also limited. You can see it from the pictures, though. The upper floor has no door as well. So there are 2 separate bedrooms only. All the rest is great, communication is fast and helpful, view and locations are amazing, hot tub was used every day! Amazing =)

Elisabeth is a perfect host. She is always very fast answering to our questions. We experienced an initial internet provider problem, she got it fixed with the company within minutes while we were doing a first exploration trip at Skrova. She kept us in the loop, role model communication. Also the roabu location close to the center, but last in the street with its own pontoon pier was perfectly suiting our needs (our kajak required such slipping capability). In short: the perfect temporary home with a great host, thank you!

We’ve loved staying here! Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. We’ve made good use of the amenities like the sauna and the jacuzzi. As for „everyday stuff“ this place offered a bunch: washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum and all kinds of kitchen supplies. I would say we were missing some more bowls but that’s just me being nitpicky at this point. We were informed prior to our arrival and I’ve seen it in other reviews but I think it is worth it to mention that the whole area is still under construction. We did not hear any noise but it might be good to know if the visuals of the area are important to you. I would definitely stay here again though especially when the construction is finished as the whole area in itself is surrounded by beautiful nature.

We were allowed to spend 8 days in Kathrine's beautiful house. The location, tranquility and view are unique. The whole house is very clean and maintained. You immediately feel comfortable, which is why a rainy day is no problem. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, so you can easily cater for yourself. The coffee machine and the Sodastream are particularly worth mentioning here. The beds are very comfortable and the Stressless armchairs in the living room invite you to relax. The whirlpool on the terrace with the great view is phenomenal. Kathrine responds to queries within a short time and also proactively passes on information. She informed us about the Artic Run, where we had the opportunity to meet her, which we were very pleased about. We totally enjoyed the days in Kathrine and Glenn's house and hope that we can come back in the winter.

Fantastic stay with stunning surroundings – highly recommended! This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Lofoten and want to be in the heart of it all. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and central. Everything was pristine and in perfect condition—no issues at all. My only suggestion would be regarding the curtains: currently there are three separate panels with four gaps that let in light. During the midnight sun, this allows sunlight to enter the room at night. Adding Velcro to secure them or switching to one or two blackout panels would help. I personally prefer a pitch-dark room for sleeping. Aside from that, everything was excellent—wonderful host, beautiful accommodation, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely return.

Vegard's house is very nice and very quiet. We stayed there for 2 nights. The house was clean. The check-in is easy with a key box. Vegard responds fairly quickly. The highlight was the whirlpool we were able to enjoy. I'll be recommending.

Beautiful place right out in the ocean gap, Lofotveggen next! Incredible views outside and inside the cabin! We saw the Sea Eagle, Otter, Fox and many birds, we fished and swam on the beautiful Bø beach right next to it. Lots to experience nearby. The cabin had everything we needed and the beds were good! Thor was a helpful host! Only good things to say about the cabin, the place and him!

This charming cabin is right on a pristine and quiet lake. We loved sitting out on the dock, watching the light change. In the distance there were a few bright red farm houses and cattle grazing on a field nearby. Because of the midnight sun we frequently got up at two or three or four in the morning to look at the changes on the lake. Each hour it looked different and always wonderful. The serenity is just what we were looking for and we found at this cabin. The cabin was well equipped, and had everything. needed to make some meals. Monica is a supreme host. She went out of her way to help out in many ways, for example I needed to ship a box home and she took us to the post place and translated as needed. We would love to come back.

Great cosy place, small kitchen but everything you might need :) lovely hikes nearby and fun pool table and ping pong in the shed next to the house.

Accommodation as described, peaceful by a lake with a magnificent view from the living room. Close to a supermarket and 15 minutes from the famous beaches. I recommend it.

A great place to stay if you want to explore Lofoten. Excellent host! Cannot recommend it enough!

We loved staying in the adorable cabin! The location was perfect, and we loved the way the whole place was decorated. We all wanted to move in!

This cabin is THE best place I’ve stayed in! It had all things necessary for a comfortable living, it took us half an hour to figure out stuff but once we got the hang of it, it was just magical. Birger and Martin are excellent hosts, the collection they have at this place is unmatched and something which impressed me a lot. 11/10 recommended!

What perfect little house on a stunning location. The cabin is very cosy and all we whished for. Ginsoya is very beautifull and quiet en from the cabin you have amazing view on the mountains and the sea. It was hard to leave!

Bigger than I expected. Very charming and beautiful views. A few KM out of Leknes and convenient to many hikes around Lofoten. Cabin was clean, comfortable for quite a few people, host very responsive, very well equipped kitchen (even a dishwasher!). Thanks very much to Rune for a perfect place. Strongly recommended

Beautiful accommodation, in a good location, between Henningsvaer and Svolvær. Very quiet location and well equipped. We felt very comfortable.

We were so happy with our stay. We went to Norway specifically for the views and Northern lights and the views were beautiful right at the house. We saw the lights from the hot tub outside. I would absolutely stay here again if your trip is traveling around the islands. They also had an electric charging station!

Judith, her home and Storemolla Island are heaven on earth. We were welcomed by Judith, and we quickly became friends. She is an incredibly friendly and delightful woman--generous, kind, and attentive to her guests' needs. The cottage is a comfortable, well-equipped house with spectacular views out of every window. The island of Storemolla has several well-marked trails, a lovely road walk, a beautiful beach, and picturesque villages on either end of the road. We connected with a local boat skipper and travelled to Trollsford and fished for cod. Yes, it's remote, but you won't be bored. And Judith will keep you laughing, and if you're fortunate, she'll treat you to her waffles or cake. Judith literally may have saved my husband's life. She's an angel of mercy.

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is so calm, and the views onto the lake never got old. We were here in May and loved watching the light change around the lake and mountains in the distance late into the night. It’s stunning - and such a relaxing place to stay with our family. The house has everything you could need and Tanja is a perfect host. It’s also an excellent position to explore the south, and worth the extra bit of driving for such a peaceful place to stay. I hope we get the chance to come back to the Lofoten Islands, and if we do we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had five wonderful days in Vilde's cabin. The location and the view are incredible, and the home is even nicer than it appears in the pictures. Wild is easy to communicate with, and was available if there should be anything. The cabin is rural, with the beach just below and both Henningsvær and Svolvær just a quick drive away. Thank you!

My fiance and I spent the most incredible week in Lofoten at Telma’s cabin during the polar night! Grunnforfjord is absolutely spectacular in the winter season and we completely fell in love with the scenery, the wildlife and the northern lights displays which we had on pretty much every evening of our stay. The cabin has everything you could need and the wood burner kept us warm throughout. The separate annexe has some of the best views you could wake up to and we even had an otter walk past the window. We will certainly be coming back to Lofoten in the spring/summer months and if you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the best we have experienced so far!
