Family-friendly holiday rentals in Stadl an der Mur

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a medium mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always present for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located downstairs 5 km away in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We would recommend it.

Great, modern accommodation, excellent natural location and very well appointed. We plan to come back!

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

We had a great stay at the house - it was our first trip to Slovenia and staying in such a beautiful location made it even better. The hot tub was amazing but be warned it does take a good few hours to heat up and when we were there, there was only logs to get the fire going, we had to buy news paper and firestarters, so just bear in mind that a trip to Bovec may be necessary. Only other thing to mention was when we checked out we struggled to find the waste bin the host mentioned that was up the hill - the nearest other bin place didn’t do general waste (recycling etc only) so we had to drive a little bit with the black bag in the car. Otherwise though it was amazing and would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. Thank you to the Astrid and her family!

The house is wonderfully quiet and was exactly what we were hoping for – if not more! Especially the direct lake access with the SUPs was a real highlight. The house itself is spacious, very clean and cozy – you immediately feel at home. Norbert was a great host: helpful, friendly and always responded quickly. The place was above expectations. Very easy to find location, host friendly and always approachable. Whenever we had a question, unknown, Mr. Hubert came to meet. We were greeted by a friendly lady who showed us the house. The host also gave us the option to use the garage. We felt very comfortable, like at home. For every recommendation.

We rented the cottage with a group of friends and everything was absolutely great. Communication with the host was fast, everything was clear. The cottage is well equipped and absolutely clean. We were very satisfied.

Very well planned accommodation with pleasant interior, everything necessary and a beautiful view of the mountains. A large number of nearby attractions. I recommend it without a doubt and will come back on occasion.

Renate has already given me all the information you need. Communication with her was great and the apartment very sweet with everything you need. The location was perfectly quiet and a great starting point for hikes in the area. Even for my dog, there were treats, a bowl and a towel. Loved it.

Elke's apartment is enchanting. It looks smaller in the pictures than it really is. Very nicely furnished, and everything you need is there. The very large terrace and the garden area are particularly beautiful. The church bells are loud, but they are turned off at night so you can sleep well. The Billa supermarket is a few minutes' walk away. There are great restaurants and cafes. You can park perfectly right in front of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. For dog owners: the Wörthersee is unfortunately not so dog-friendly. The beach resorts do not allow dogs. There is only one official dog beach in Klagenfurt, but it is very small. We also let our dog into the water in Pörtschach, but it is not allowed.

Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable!

The stay was very calm and peaceful surroundings. You just hear the sound of birds and mountains look like they also sleep in the night and you get up in the morning with fresh air from Nature. 100% Recommended.

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

Loved the view and the nature around the place

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. We enjoyed it very much, the apartment is just right in terms of size. The swimming pool was also always a rest after long hiking days. Especially the view from the balcony to Watzmann and Jenner is definitely worth a mention. Depending on where you want to go, the city center was also easily accessible on foot in 10-20 minutes. All other attractions were reachable by car in 5-10 minutes. The building is on a slope, so you have to go up to load by car and park it a little further down. That went smoothly. In short: really recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at Ulrike's, where we stayed for a few days for my husband's Iron Man nearby. We were very warmly received, Ulrike and her husband are extremely sweet people and you can ask them anything. The photos match very well with what you can expect. Everything you needed was there and everything was very clean on arrival. It was also a wonderfully fresh accommodation, which came in handy during the hot days. Nice terrace to sit and eat outside. Ulrike and her husband are really so lovely and friendly. Always a very warm and pleasant contact when you meet them. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see nearby: near the Wörtersee, Maria Wörth (beautiful church on the lake), Pyramidenkogel (viewing tower with a view over the entire Wörtersee), near Klagenfurt, Velden, supermarket,... We enjoyed our stay enormously! Thank you! :)

Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.
