The cabin is perfectly located for day trips to Loen, Geiranger, Briksdalen and Ålesund, just 10 minutes from the Folkestad ferry quay. Handsome cabin at the shore of the lake. The cabin has a cozy patio for sunny days, late summer evenings and good memories! The main floor consists of a toilet, kitchenette, living room with dining area and a bedroom. The basement consists of bathroom with shower and sauna. As well as basement living room with bar and TV. The loft consists of a bedroom. Note: here it is low under the roof. 30 minutes to Stryn town centre and 30 minutes to Nordfjordeid town centre. The last stretch is the narrow road down to the fjord. A parking space for a small/medium-sized car.

Walking and cycling distance to the city center. Good starting point for fishing in Eidselva, hiking or day trips around Nordfjord. The house has 2 floors with a steep staircase to the attic with 2 bedrooms + a bed in the hallway in the attic. Toilet and shower have their own door outside under the covered entrance. The kitchen contains a stove, sink, coffee maker and kettle, kettles and simple equipment.

From here you can explore famous places such as Geiranger and Olden (approx. 2h), Loen with Skylift (1.5h), the bird island Runde, Øye (1h) and the Jugendbyen Ålesund (1.5h). Mountain trips on foot and on skis to Slogen, Saudehornet, Liadalsnipa, Molladalen and Melshornet (you can walk from the cabin). Close to several alpine and cross-country ski slopes.

You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.
