Cabin holiday rentals in St. Louis County

We had a great stay at the island. It was perfect for our family trip of 7 (3 generations) to gather. Fishing was great on the lake and at the island our 9 year old son could explore, catch bull frogs and dragonflies, fish and paddle board around the island. We even got to see a turtle lay her eggs behind the cabin one night! Thank you for a memorable trip!

It’s a gorgeous and spacious house, with many amenities and a nice scenery for a great price (especially when splitting with others). Very secluded, clean and comfortable, 100% recommend booking for large groups!

Beautiful, clean peaceful place! the wrap around porch was our favorite spot to sit and visit. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great location on the lake near Giant’s Ridge. Amazing amenities with games, kayaks, bbq, decks and lots of space. Perfect for our family getaway weekend. Clean and comfortable. Dog friendly is a big plus!

We had an awesome time. Beautiful views everywhere. Perfect for us and our family with grandkids. Swimming, jacuzzi, boat dock, a.c. and comforts, kayaks and floats for kids was super nice!!! Loved the outside deck for grilling and eating and relaxing. This place is well equipped. Great job Chad and crew! Kitchen was so well stocked that we didn't need to bring half as much as we did for spices and kitchen amenities. We loved our time and was sad it was over so soon. Close to town made it really nice. Added awesomeness was that we also had great weather! Garage was really convenient to reload and pack our boat on last day when raining. Can't think of a thing we didn't love.

My entire group had their jaw drop when we pulled in to David’s cabin. The view to the water was incredible. The photos don’t do the house justice. It is so beautiful and clean. Truly they have everything. It was the most amazing place to stay! We all wanted to plan another trip back before this one was over. I highly recommend this cabin & David as a host.

Cedar Lake is stunning. Great views from both cabins which made relaxing on the porches perfect. Fishing was good & other wildlife was abundant. We enjoyed using the canoe, paddle boards, & paddle boat. David is a responsive communicator & was quick to help us with the water glitch in the seasonal cabin. We enjoyed our stay. (To future Airbnb renters: The second cabin is indeed seasonal so keep in mind seasonal cabins come w/ glitches. With that being said, the little cabin was exactly what I personally was looking for.)

Pristine little cabin at an awesome resort with lots of stuff to do for adults and kids alike.

Our stay at Crane Lake was great! Everything was as described. Mike and Angie were amazing hosts. The garage space was so great for our kids and they loved hanging out there. The dock space was amazing and lots of good fishing right off the dock. The paddle boat was a big hit with my kiddos. We would definitely come back again!

Hands-down, the best place we have ever stayed! Not only was the scenery breathtaking but everything about the place just made you feel like home. The beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. It had every amenity we could possibly need. There’s nothing they didn’t think of in this location. Our son absolutely loved the private home with the two separate places. We will become regulars cause this place is like a dream. Thank you so much!!!

If willing to make the drive away from all signs of civilization, whether it be for golfing, skiing, camping, roadtripping or otherwise, Jody’s place will always come out on top. The Bear Den Lodge exceeded all expectations, and had so many fun touches throughout the place in addition to its reliable amenities. My party made use of most offerings such as the screened hut, sauna, grill, large backyard, game room, washer/dryer, and the fancy bath tub! There were hardly any issues, the place was pristinely prepared, welcoming to guests and bears (only fake ones), and secluded. The only problem that occurred was a fire alarm being set off by the grilling we did. Due to the location of the grill, it may be more susceptible to triggering the fire alarm. To combat this, we opened a few windows in the front of the house (away from the grill), and turned on all fans and air control units (which were excellently reliable). In short, tremendous place, and I would certainly revisit!

What a wonderful place for our family of fisherman to stay. Really clean and wonderful Amenities. Would be terrific for families or anyone. Kitchen, dining room, family room, deck and 3 bedrooms all excellent. Easy to park our boats in the evenings. The best is the beautiful view from the house or nice deck. Murray was also excellent to communicate with…and super responsive.

Appreciate the hosts which made allowances for us in our scheduling. Beautiful spot and made for great stay before canoe trip out of Ely.

We loved our stay at Tad’s cabin on Wakemup Bay! The kitchen was fabulous, and well stocked to make cooking easy. The beds were very comfortable. When we unexpectedly lost power, Tad came to check on us. The power outage was wide spread, and due to wind… nothing to do with the cabin. Tad or Ruby replied quickly if we had a question, and communication was great. We played lots of pool, and went fishing everyday. My son was thrilled with the northern pike, walleye and small mouth bass he caught. It is great swimming off the dock, and I appreciated the stairs up to the dock! The area is quieter than other places we’ve stayed, and we really liked that. We could walk our dog right from the cabin, and there were grassy areas for her to play. We definitely would love to return next summer! Thank you Tad!

This was a great place for our Up North vacation. A quaint little place on a private little lake. Nothing fancy, but lots of space. Everything you'd expect from a cabin plus more that we didn't expect, like a whole screened in garage with extra fridge space, tons of yard games, and complimentary s'mores - YUM!

Nothing but amazing. Plenty of sheets, towels, etc. Pots and pans along with solverware, and cooking utensils were in great shape. Bonus was the wood stove. Plan to come back again!

Amazing place if you are looking to unplug and enjoy piece and quiet. Cabin was amazing, property was immaculate, and Sue was amazing and we are grateful to have her host us. Highly recommend and we will be visiting again.

We loved the Three Lakes Cabin! It had all the amenities listed and more. It was very cozy and warm, the way a cabin should be, with super comfy beds you’ll never want to leave. It’s also close to many beautiful lakes for some fishing or just touring around. Communication was wonderful and the hosts were very dedicated to making sure our stay was perfect. We’re already planning our next stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It has a beautiful location and a picturesque outdoor set up. We enjoyed the lake and paddle boating in it. The views from the living room are quite spectacular. It is conveniently located and allowed us to spend a day in Duluth and along the North shore, yet providing us with a cozy and private place to come back to. We enjoyed the picnic table and the outdoor swing, along with the evening bonfires. The s’mores provided by our gracious host was the perfect icing on the cake. Can definitely see us returning in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael's lakeside retreat. The photos represented it well and we were especially pleased with the detailed directions for the route off the highway. The fireplace was a treat. Our only struggle was remembering which switches controlled which lights… even though many of them were labeled, we still had to guess/remember several times. The heaters in each room were effective and the kitchen was well-stocked. We certainly recommend Michael's North Bay Getaway.

The dock with seating was a nice feature. Much of our indoor time was enjoyed in the lake-facing front room. So much natural beauty, and a great spot for birdwatching!

Awesome cabin on a beautiful lake! The cabin is in a quiet location with great lakeside amenities. The cabin is beautifully decorated and is very well stocked. Heidi and Paul are great hosts with a quick response time to any questions. I would highly recommend this cabin!
