Cottage holiday rentals in St. George Island

We had a great stay and loved how quiet and peaceful the community was. We enjoyed having 3 pools to choose from. The house was clean and had plenty of room to relax. We drove to mexico beach for the day and loved how close everything was to this location! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

Julie was a very friendly host and even allowed us to check in earlier with no fees or hassles. She is also very responsive and helpful. the place was in great condition and came very well stocked. Only minor complaint we had was that the upstairs bedrooms felt a little bit cramped. The grilling area is communal and small, so it could be difficult funding a spot to grill on a busy weekend. very close to really nice beaches.

Should be more specific with the “beach access “ we had to drive to a decent beach in the area and also there wasn’t a playground for the kids which was one of the reasons I picked this one.

Melanie's place was wonderful! The house was spotless with everything you need to cook, very comfortable beds, wonderful shower, and well decorated. The place is very private and peaceful. The sounds of nature at night was amazing! I hadn't heard that in years! And Melanie was super responsive to messages, within minutes I had a response! Thank you Melanie! We had a very relaxing stay!

The house was perfect for our family of 5. We were within driving distance to beautiful beaches. Not a ton of options for grocery stores but more than what we needed. Mike was very proactive with checking with us throughout the week. We would definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and adorable cottage. Very comfortable and modern surroundings great decorating felt like at home. Love the cottage layout and so nice to have screened in porches.

This was such an adorable stay! We booked another place and it was a complete disaster so we’re super grateful that Patrick could host us so last minute. The carriage house is private and quiet and also a close walk to restaurants and shops in town. We especially loved our neighborhood walks with our dog and drinking our morning coffee in the shaded secret garden. The only thing we wished for was more of a working kitchen for morning meals. And yes, the bathroom is tiny but everything was clean and lovely!

What an amazing stay. The location could not be more blissful. The house has literally everything you could want and the view is stunning. I will be planning my next trip as soon as possible. This place is truly special and Rachel is a tremendous host!

I stayed at this rental home for 4 days, and it was a great experience. The house was very accommodating and spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. It’s perfectly located in the Cape and within walking distance to the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was excellent—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway.

We stayed for a week in this peaceful, scenic setting. Every bay-facing room has a view, and the screened porch was perfect for sunrise coffee. The bed was very comfortable. I cooked most dinners in the decently stocked kitchen. (If you love your prep knives, bring them.) It’s 30 min. to Walmart—great tackle selection at great prices. The tap water is salty but didn’t leave my hair feeling beachy or sticky. Lots of drinking water is provided. The handheld shower was awkward for my 5'10" husband, but fine for 5'1" me. Parking across the street deep enough for our RAM + trailer with kayaks and wide enough for two vehicles, but watch for poison ivy around the edges! Bring bug spray. Kayaks were an easy launch from the beach. Fishing was good, not epic (spotted trout & redfish). Best results were at oyster bars east of the beach. There were lots of birds and a family of wild pigs we watched for at twilight. Ultimately, our trip was beautiful and peaceful, and we had fun.

The cottage was so cute but also spacious. It was clean and felt very homey. There were modern amenities but had an older cozy cottage vibe. Great location if you have transportation. We loved that it was stocked with necessities that you may need but have forgotten, such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner, bandaids, nail polish remover, Sun screen, laundry detergent, tea and coffee, etc. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely book it again!

My wife and I appreciated the cozy private setting, quiet neighborhood, convenient location, and well maintained home. We'd recommend this host and this place to anyone traveling through the area.

This is our 3rd time staying at Kathy's place and it is always a great experience. The house was clean and the area is so peaceful! They have walking paths in the neighborhood, its so close to shops and restaurants! We cannot wait to come back next year!

This is one of the loveliest vacation rentals we've stayed at over our years of traveling. With our kids grown now, taking trips - just the two of us - is going to be more common and this was perfect for my wife and I but could have easily accommodated the 4 guest limit. The home is cozy yet spacious and has everything you'd need for a trip to the area. One thing we loved particularly was how it was nestled in a quiet, small neighborhood that made it the perfect place to come after a long, busy day of activities. And it was well kept up with nice touches that made it feel like home-away-from-home. Highly recommended if you coming to the area!! Thank you Allison and Kyle for a fantastic stay and making this a trip a great memory for us.

Great place for families traveling together. It allows you to vacation together, but still have separate “houses”. The jack-and-Jill patio is an amazing idea and works very well for families traveling together. We were close enough to what we wanted to do, however far enough away for it to be peaceful and quiet.

We loved this spot!! It was exactly as described. Everything was clean and we loved the amenities. This is such a peaceful and quiet spot. Within walking distance from the beach. 10/10! We would love to come back!

This place is tranquil,relaxing and very quiet. The back yard is like an oasis. The beach was great. Not crowded at all. We even went to the public beaches on alligator point and they were not crowded. The only downside to the trip was the Yellow Flies. This however had nothing to do with Cindy, it was just the season. We found baby oil or deep woods off worked. Cindy was always responsive to any questions and she had everything for the guest from beach supplies and a wagon to pull it all with. She also supplied firewood if you want a fire. There is nothing touristy if you’re looking for excitement and crowds. I would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

This rustic spot is amazing and beautiful views. We weren’t lucky fishing off the dock but we caught plenty of good size crabs with the traps. Really fun and great location close to the downtown area.

Perfect peaceful private getaway. Super quaint lodging almost like a granny house. Perfect place to relax after a day of exploration. Great communication before and throughout our stay.

The house was perfect for our stay! Bedrooms and bathroom are a nice size. Plenty of room to move around. Kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the property.
