Bethulie Guest Farm - Deluxe Room

RobertRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I find it difficult to express how much I liked this place and my wonderful hosts, from Wayne and his family to Jessie and Debra who greet you in the morning with a a sunny smile that puts you in a great mood before the superb breakfast that they cook for their guests. The dinner is also delicious, and I have to say that Jessies’ Malva pudding is out of this world. The surroundings are absolutely superb and so peaceful. I could not find any area of improvement as this place is in my book is close perfect. I was on my way down to Cape Town and had planned to stay for one night and ended up staying three nights. I would have stayed longer if there would have been availability. It is the kind of place where you arrive as a valuable hosts and leave as a friend! For me, who loves dogs, and added bonus was the three furry friends they had on the property. They were 🥰 lovely.

Mimosa Guesthouse

MandyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We travel every 2 months between Cape Town and KZN. This was our first time staying at Mimosa Guesthouse. We will definitely be back. Ronel was thoughtful enough to put us in the furtherest, quitest unit as we were traveling with a toddler. The unit was spacious, clean and has all the amenities required for a stop over. Ronel was friendly during the check-in procedure and helpful with restaurant recommendations.

It is the ideal stop-over for a larger/ extended family. Rooms are comfortable and decorated with style. Excellent quality beds! The separate kitchen/ living space is ideal to relax after the journey. Focus on detail: double adaptors for the phone, baby bath, mosquito spray are apreciated.

Perfect for a stopover on a long drive. Laurie came out to greet me in person. Second time I’ve stayed there, well worth it.

New Holme - Double Room

JohannaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
My husband and I have stayed at many different places. So it can get boring and monotinous. This accomodation was DIFFERENT. Farmy, cozy and quent. It felt like I was living in another world. Where the hussle and bussle of life does not exist. A blast from the past, into a world where our ancestores probably lived on farms. You smell the nature and the landscape is like medicine for your mind. Massive open land, I think the lady said 8000 hectares of farm land, different drives you can go on like a drive to the Hippo, so cool. We even got to see the baby cows and sheep. The animals were my highlight. The staff, including the daughter of the family who own the farm was so passionate about her legacy and just oozed enthusiasm for a life not many will ever get to ever experience. We are from Jeffreys bay and from now on when we travel, farm stay is the way to go.
